24.01.2022 Hello to all my nail & beauty clients, as you would know, we were all informed last week by the Australian Government news announcements, that they have shut down the nail & beauty industry due to the Corona Virus. So... it looks like I am to take a break. Unfortunately, with all the uncertainties within the business, especially not knowing a time frame that the nail & beauty industry will be shut down for, due to COVID-19. I have with heavy heart to announce to you all, that... I have made the decision not to be returning my nail & beauty business to the premises at 84 Cemetery Rd Eastern Heights My De Ja Vu Hair Nails & Beauty Facebook page will remain open, message me, either through Facebook messenger/ mobile if you have any questions. My mobile number will remain the same. I will post an update when the restrictions are finally lifted by the Australian Government for my industry to start operating again. Please hit the like, follow page buttons on my De Ja Vu Hair Nails & Beauty Facebook page, so you can see what is happening Ladies...If you have a nail file, file your gel nails down, as they grow out. 24.01.2022 By the looks of things, it will be all good to get back working for Nails, Sugaring/Waxing and Lash/Brow Tinting Yippee!!! Although I wont be able to do any Spray Tanning as of yet, it looks like that I maybe able to offer this treatment 12th June at this stage. ... I am still working on and setting up my new Home-based Salon. I will be ready for your business this weekend Please be aware that I am making every effort to adhere to the COVID Safe rules and guidelines. Its fantastic news that the government has aloud the nails & beauty industry to start doing treatments again, however I do require you to let me know ahead of time if you feel unwell...its for all of our community...our industry needs to stay open. We all need to feel safe and stay well. I can always reschedule your appointment for when you are feeling well again. I will not be booking back to back clients to ensure cleaning in between each client is done thoroughly, which will reduce the availability of time slots. Text me when you arrive as I am required to only allow one client inside my Salon at one time, to apply the safe distance space rule. I am legally required to keep a registration of clients who come through my door...which will require the following... Your full name Address Phone number Date Signature I will ask that you to wash your hands as soon as you enter the Salon, hand sanitizer will also be available for you to use. Bring a mask if you feel the need to. I will not be offering hot or cold beverages, you may bring your own. For all Nail clients...its nearly been a decade, that I have only used the same nail equipment on each individual client (eg: files, buffer block, cuticle stick & dust brush) they are always sanitised and placed inside a zip lock bag, named then reused for each appointment and replaced as needed. I am proud of myself for doing this for many, many years. My clients are so use to me doing this, they love it! I am now ready... to book your appointments...hit me up!!! 18.01.2022 In the Salon we focus on making you look and feel your best, and that includes ensuring the health and safety of our clients, our teammates and our community at large. So whilst we are trading, as usual, we have made a few changes inside the Salon and we do ask that common sense prevails. I already keep a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in salon; washing hands or sanitiser before, during and after every client and cleaning surfaces and equipment with disinfectant. T...his will continue as normal. This includes requesting our customers to acknowledge the changes in the following. BYO magazines, drinks (tea/coffee/water). Sanitize your hands upon entry into the Salon. We recommend customers with an appointment attend only. As we all know Coronavirus (COVID-19) is serious and as such we have stepped up our already strict hygiene practices and cleanliness standards. As we all work together through this pandemic, there will be times when appointments will need to be rescheduled. Please do not hesitate to reschedule if you are unwell, unsure if you should be out and about or if you need to self-isolate. There may also be times where we need to do the same. It is so important that together we protect ourselves and our community, and help with flattening the curve which is so critical to the integrity of our health care system. I am very excited to announce that the upside to this COVID-19 is that my husband and I are renovating our garage into a nail, sugaring/waxing, beauty and tanning room I always thought that when we purchased our home, that the single garage bay, would be perfect for me to have a home based salon...and now so it is ... I cant wait until its all finish, we will have it all set up... ready...set...to go...for when the time comes that the Australian Government finally allows us, the nail and beauty industry to get back to work and to be able to get our hands on you My home based business will be all as it was before, been as Registered business, doing my income tax, business insurance ect. Keeping my thoughts positive for the future, I have decided to have a business name change. I have already, gone ahead and registered it... I will be changing the name on my Facebook/Instagram business pages. I am in process of designing new business cards, brochures ect I will be posting sneak peaks on how the renovation is going, so keep and eye out... I am excited and looking forward to have this change that has been forced upon me, this will and has been a huge change for me, and will be for my clients. I will be able to offer my clients extended hours of trade, my professionalism will not change, only my location... I am forever grateful for your continued love and support during COVID-19 it is very much appreciated.
