With our school heading into Remote Learning 2.0, we knew we needed another challenge to keep us tuned into our wonderful school community. ... So I present to you- Delacombe Has Got Talent (internet style). We are looking for our awesome students to get creative and to send in a video of them completing a special talent that they possess. The talent can be as hard or as simple as they would like, with the focus on having fun and getting creative To submit your entry and to be in the running for our weekly video, send in your video to: [email protected] Or attach your file to your child's compass assignment titled 'Delacombe Has Got Talent.' 21.01.2022 Hi all, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY You will need to read this slowly because School Photos has become complicated because of changes that have occurred over the weekend.... As of Sunday the Premier announced that outdoor professional photography including school photos are now permitted. Our photo day with MSP was scheduled for Monday 19th Oct which we cancelled last week. The school has already organised photos for Grade Prep and Grade 6 and all class photos on Thursday 29th Oct and Friday 30th Oct. This was sent out via Compass last week and many orders have been received. We are still taking these orders until Nov 1st. We have been able to re-book at VERY SHORT NOTICE MSP PHOTOGRAPHY to come in tomorrow and take school photos for individuals in Gr 1,2,3,4,5, family photos & school captains MSP will be sending out the link via Compass for orders for the photos as mentioned above later on today. MSP will only provide individual photos packs, if you want a school class photo you will need to order this via the school QKR process. MSP will take family photos of those who previously ordered them. If you did not place an order previously please ring the office to ensure your family photo gets taken tomorrow. MSP are providing 2 weeks for you to complete your ordering process. Please understand this is very confusing and is out of our control, so please read the information carefully. Thanks

21.01.2022 Good morning parents and carers. This week we are running our final Book Fair for 2020. Due to COVID 19 this book fair will run differently to previous years with ONLY students being able to purchase books during recess and lunch times from Tuesday through to Friday. Due to this being a cash only event, we request that students bring correct money. Students will bring home wish lists with them this evening, so please send your child to school with the correct money if you wish to purchase.

13.01.2022 Hi all, The announcement yesterday has allowed us to move the starting date to Monday October 5th. This is great news for all of us. I have attached some key information that highlights a return to school.... Social distancing and limits on school entry still apply to adults. This is listed in the documents. As of next term the remote learning program will cease. If you are seeking alternatives to returning to on site you will have to contact the school, but exceptions only really are provided to children with medical conditions. We have organised for families/students to hop online and order their special men a present. Please log into Compass and follow the link for instructions and presents. Collection of gifts will be Thursday 3rd 1pm-4pm and Friday 4th September 9am-11am - enter through Prep B door and exit Prep C door. Gifts will be available for $4 each and multiple gifts may be purchased. There will be a range of gifts to choose from. Payment for gifts are to be made via the QKR app only.
