25.01.2022 A recent request from a customer to build an electrical control system which would automatically open the sides of a 40ft container which had been converted into a portable classroom for remote work sites. This one was going to the mines

22.01.2022 DIS have been working on a factory move for a Steel Manufacturing customer for the past 3 weeks, working 7 days a week, 10-16 hr days. It has been a mammoth task disconnecting 14 large machines and then recommissioning, ensuring all their equipment had power in the new factory and were reconnected ready for production. The team have put in a huge effort but its not over yet.... the move should be completed by Easter but next we have the task of removing all electrical cabling and equipment in the old factory to bring it back to the original empty shell ready for re leasing, this will be another 3 weeks full time for two of our staff ......

19.01.2022 Who said being an Electrician was a clean job ....

19.01.2022 For the past two weeks our guys have been busy in our workshop. We were asked to put a quote in to complete and wire controls in two electrical cabinets which were 1800mm high X 600mm wide by 600mm deep which would operate six separation machines for a plant which recycles old car tyres. Tomorrow starts the two week installation and commissioning process. Here are a few pictures to give you all an idea of what the job entailed. Keep watching this space, more pictures to follow, when installation begins....

18.01.2022 DIS were called to a customers factory who had installed two sensor lights themselves. Not something we see everyday however this is why you should call an Electrician... Definitely not the way lights should be installed! No wonder there was an issue with the sensor not working

All the guys have done a great job but particular mention goes to Nick who has been thrown in at the deep end on the job from day 1. Two weeks down. Next week power goes on to each of the machines and commissioning process starts so the plant can start running....

15.01.2022 At DIS we believe it’s never too young to train an apprentice -although it’s a bit rough when a 2 year wants to be paid at the end of the day....thanks Miles for all your help, couldn’t have finished the job without it
