01.01.2022 JUST IN - Please read In light of restrictions being lifted in relation to the 1 parent per player advice I can confirm the changes to Grand Final day in our district. The following applies at certain grounds this weekend;... CAPTAIN COOK OVAL- GWAWLEY OVAL CRONULLA HIGH Wristbands will NO LONGER be required. We ask that when attending these 3 venues you adhere to Covid-19 social distancing rules and guidelines. Please note that under the current health order, community venues are still to have no more than 500 people contrary to some of the media outlet reports. That is why we ask that if you are not immediate family that you stay at home and watch the games live and free on BarTV. Go to our website for links to the games. FORESHAW PARK Wristbands ARE REQUIRED for the over 18 matches ONLY. Please read the below carefully.. This venue has a total capacity of 500 persons including players, staff and volunteers as this is an enclosed venue. We have split both days into 2 sessions of 500 persons to best maximise the use of the venue without it becoming logistically impossible. The ‘JUNIOR SESSION’ being the first three games of each day involving under 18 matches will have a combined capacity of 500 persons shared across that session. Entry for spectators begins at 8am. You will not be required to have wristbands for the junior session’s on each day, however once we reach a capacity of 500, entry will be on an in/out basis, controlled by the security guards. Immediately following the 3rd game of junior session, security will direct all spectators to vacate the venue. The ‘senior session’ is the two over 18 matches in the afternoon on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be a combined capacity of 500 persons shared across that session and you require a wristband for entry. Entry for spectators begins at 1pm, NO EARLIER. Do not enter while the junior matches are on as you will be asked to leave and have to line back up again. There are specific coloured wristbands for the senior sessions on both days and security will be strict in enforcing these. We have supplied clubs with enough wristbands to cover at least 2 parents per player and extras. Please ask your club if they have any wristbands available. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A WRISTBAND FOR THE SENIOR SESSION YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE VENUE. The NSW Police and security guards will be monitoring the venue throughout both days and we will be enforcing Covid-19 rules and guidelines. I remind everyone that these rules We are also guests of the Southern District Rugby Club and I thank them for their hospitality and ask that their venue be respected. We thank everyone for their cooperation on what has been a logistical headache.
