17.01.2022 Last year we celebrated the launch of The Sauce By Manu at Delish Deliveries with a little competition... With approx. 2000 entries, there were just 4 lucky winners (& friends!) who came along early December to join Manu Feildel as well as Jaeger & Claire, for a private lunch at Manu's stunning new venue - La Botanique. We're so thankful to Manu & his team to give up their time to treat our winners and guests to a 3 course meal & wine pairing, private tour of the new venu...e and of course excellent hospitality. It was also such a pleasure to meet some of our lovely customers face to face! We hope you all had an excellent time! Here are a few pics from the day. P.S. You can still purchase Manu's sauce from Delish! The sauce will be sticking around! Head to our website to try! www.delishdeliveries.com.au

16.01.2022 For any friends or family of Delish who might be doing it a little tough this festive season. Head on down to Bankstown Salvation Army this morning to collect a Delish care package. This was Santa’s (Jaeger) final drop for the year before finally making it home last night. Merry Christmas from our family to yours

13.01.2022 Meet Bushie Bill! If you have been ordering our Highland Free Range eggs, you're likely used to receiving little updates from him about his chickens and the egg farm. Well now he needs our help! His farm has received a new round of birds and in the first four weeks his chickens will lay 'pullet eggs'. They weigh roughly 50g instead of the usual 70g size so they are on the smaller side until the birds grow large enough to lay bigger eggs. There's absolutely no dip in the qua...lity though. You'll find they are actually more nutrient dense, containing more yolk than whites, giving your old scrambled eggs a creamier flavour! Jump on Bushie Bills smaller eggs this week and grab 1 dozen for just $5. You'll find them in the specials section of our website: https://bit.ly/Delishspecials

13.01.2022 Oodles of Noodles with our Easy Pad See Eew. We love a good noodle dish...they are cheap and easy and available online at Delish! RECIPE Sauce Ingredients... 1 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp light soy sauce 2 tbsp dark soy sauce 2 tbsp kecup Noodles 1 packet thick rice noodle 500g baby corn button mushrooms beansprouts garlic chives baby bok choy onion cut into wedges 1 clove garlic Instructions: Mix the sauce ingredients in a large bowl and set aside (this quantity of sauce will be enough for 500gm of noodles, alter to the number of noodles on hand, this sauce is also what flavours the veggies below in the final cooking). Wash and cut the above vegetables to your preferred liking and quantity, stir fry the vegetables in vegetable oil and once cooked set aside Reheat 500gm (or how much noodles you would prefer) in a covered microwave-proof bowl for approx 1 minute then take out and shake gently, microwave a further 1 minute. Take noodles and place into the sauce followed by the precooked vegetables. Beat 2 eggs in a bowl and set aside. Heat your work or pan of choice (if your wok or pan cannot hold all of the noodles and veg, absolutely fine to cook in batches. Just make sure that you add more eggs to the recipe or your liking. Do not overfill your pan or wok, you want enough heat in the pan/wok to sear and char the noodles slightly). Add vegetable oil to your heated pan/wok (smoking hot is good) add the beaten eggs and stir around in the oil to create a scrambled omelette, once that is achieved add the sauce/noodle/veg into the pan/wok and stir fry through until the noodles are cooked and the sauce is absorbed thoroughly. Taste the noodles, and adjust seasoning to your liking! If adding any meats to noodles, make sure that the meats are cooked beforehand to ensure you have a dryer style stir fry noodle. If adding tofu, make sure that you only use hard tofu or tofu puffs. Silken or soft tofu will not work. Garnish with coriander and sliced chillies if desired View the range here: https://bit.ly/30o5dIh

04.01.2022 Sheesh! It’s tough work being up early at the markets each morning! These oranges look like a great place for a quick rest and reflection on all the amazing produce I’ve been able to source fresh for today’s orders. That's how it works at Delish...You place your order and I source fresh for you every morning!

03.01.2022 As we march out of Summer, it’s time to say bon voyage to some of our Summer friends and hello to some of our new Autumn friends. Grapes are the stand out this week, Crimsons, Muscats, Thompsons, Sapphires and more! There is an abundance of sensational grapes! My pick still this week are Crimsons if you are looking for a crowd-pleaser i.e. crispy sweet and kid-friendly with no seeds! An excellent lunch box addition. ... That said, the Muscat for the big kids has to be one to think about! These guys are like a fine glass of wine with so much depth to their flavour they are a floral number that makes you feel warm fuzzy like you just got a hug from your Nanna! Jump on them they won’t disappoint. New-season Autumn crops of apples and pears are underway, barring pink ladies. My pick has to be the delicious red fuji this week, these guys are a must! Melons are still eating amazingly, the best part is this time of year ALL of our melons are hailing from inside NSW borders rather than being trucked in from the Northern Territory. My pick this week is the delicious rockmelons coming from Hay near Griffith! Eating sensational get amongst it! Nectarines, peaches, & most plums are still top-notch. The pick of the plum still has to be Queen Garnett - simply excellent! Berries are fairing ok, however, I wouldn’t say at their peak, but are better than a few weeks back. Still don’t hang on to them for more than a couple of days. Consume quickly. See ya later to a few Summer friends this week, yellow plums, lychees, cherries (last week) and apricots. See ya Sistas. In the land of veg steady goes the ship, all veg are really reasonably priced at the moment. English spinach ain’t looking that great so avoid if you can, sub for baby spinach or Tuscan cabbage. Few roots about at a decent price. My picks would definitely be the super sweet baby sweet potatoes and fire cutting butternut pumpkins, when they open like that you know they will be sweet! Check out this week's specials at Delish - https://www.delishdeliveries.com.au/products
