25.01.2022 A lot of people will know that The Delivery Don has been available for deliveries 363 nights a year for the last 2 1/2 years. We did this to finally get to a stage that we could employ more staff. Due to the inflexibilities of the Government we have now found that given our prices of $10.00 or $15.00 for deliveries to keep our service affordable for families we will never be able to hire staff for Saturday and Sunday nights. We have exhausted all avenues available to us even ...wearing the extra costs of fuel rising 0.40c/ ltr to try to keep our service available for the Mackay public but have now reached a stage that it will only be myself and my lovely wife doing the deliveries. We will keep our service running but as has always been the case our ability to do the delivery will be subject to availability. We are hoping in future times to be able to put more cars on the road Monday to Friday night's but this involves having to purchase more vehicles and so will be our next goal for our business. We have purchased 1 vehicle to start this process and will need to hire someone in the near future. This will be the last Sunday we will be available as to ensure our ability to move forward my wife and myself need 1 day to recharge and as such the business will be closed on Sundays. We would like to thank all of our customers that have got us to this point and would still urge you Monday to Saturday to call us prior to placing your order as we are not always flat out and we do our best to accommodate most requests. 24.01.2022 Why is The Delivery Don always chasing staff. Two reasons, first we are growing and need the help to grow and secondly our workers tend to find more permanent work and so leave us. 23.01.2022 The Delivery Don is looking for someone to do approximately 10 to 15 + hrs a week casual. A reliable vehicle and phone are necessary. Hours will be 6 pm to 8pm Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 8.30 pm Friday and 5.30 to 8.30 Saturday. Also availability 11am to 2 pm Monday to Saturday will be highly regarded. We do apologize for any inconvenience caused but all our drivers will be tied up delivering flowers to all the lucky girls and guys till 3.30pm then at 5 PM it will be business as usual.

So for your special occasion or just a special treat drop down and see Di and her team at the Gasworks and add that special touch of having us bring it to your door Monday to Saturday. Good Friday - 5pm to 9pm Easter Saturday - 9am to 3:30pm then 5pm to 9pm Easter Sunday - Closed Easter Monday - 5pm to 9pm... 09.01.2022 Hi everyone, just a heads up that thanks to all your great patronage over the period we have been open we now have to register for GST. This will mean as of Friday 1st of March our delivery fees will raise to $11.00 & $16.50 to incorporate the tax.

08.01.2022 To all our valued customers, Some of you may have notice that our opening times have slightly changed. The Delivery Don will now be closed from 3:30pm and will re-open at 5pm. We would also like to let everyone know as of Monday 3rd September our $5 CBD deliveries will now be charged at $10. This is due to confusion of the boundary lines and to help streamline the business as it grows. Not only will $2 from each Big Mac sold go to Ronald McDonald house this year it will go towards our very own room. So get into your closest Macca's and grab a Big Mac or 10. 06.01.2022 Just an update on the current Covid-19 situation. At this stage The Delivery Don will continue to be open for our regular days/hours, until told otherwise. We want to be there for our local community and help support other small businesses. While eating at local restaurant has been limited due to social distancing, we can all still support them by ordering a delivery (which also supports a 2nd locally owned small business - US).

03.01.2022 The easiest way to have us deliver your food is have the Menu Log app. These Restaurants ordering through the app have us deliver your food: Hogs Breath, Coco Cubano, Sam's Singaporean, Let's Do Greek. Restaurants we assist with deliveries: Roshni and Masala. Difference between Menu Log app and competition app. Menu Log food is delivered when ready competition app food is delivered when McDonald's has no deliveries.

During the call we will take your details (name, address, restuarant, cash/card. 2. Call the restaurant and place your order. 3. Sit back and relax while one of our friendly drivers picks up and delivers your order.... We are asked what do we deliver? If it is food , as long as you can place an order we will deliver it but sorry no KFC, Hungry Jack's or Maccas. We also do most small parcel typed deliveries. * Because we are driving we do not take orders via message/sms.
