22.01.2022 Congratulations Tammy Donohue on 500 games! Tonight Tammy becomes just the 8th female basketballer in the history of the Deloraine Amateur Basketball Association to reach the 500 game milestone. Would you believe Tammy started playing Junior Basketball in the 70s?...Yes that is right the 70s!... Tammy is now in her 35th year of senior basketball and has always been a great player and fierce competitor on the court. Tammy has won many individual awards through the years but has always been a team player, winning many premierships. Tammy has also been a volunteer working many roles in both Junior and Senior basketball committing many hours of her time to basketball in Deloraine also Coaching her 4 boys, Jye, Aron, Liam and Luke. From all of us at the Deloraine Amateur Basketball Association, especially her Masters family, we congratulate Tammy on this massive milestone and being a fantastic contributor to basketball in Deloraine. Come along tonight at 7pm to cheer on Tammy in her 500th and help her to celebrate the big occasion!

22.01.2022 Eight games, some close, some not so close for our women in the 35+ at our first Pan Pacific Masters Games. We enjoyed playing against teams from Sri Lanka, New Zealand and around the country. Thanks Ellie for coaching.

22.01.2022 Were back in Tassie after our most recent Masters adventure. It was our first time to the Pan Pacific Masters on the Gold Coast and we had a ball. We played lots of games (some played 15 in 7 days) we had lots of laughs, met lots of people and made lots of memories. We were just two teams of 149 basketball teams and part of 16000 participants from 40 countries. We would all like to say a big thank you to everyone who supports us on these trips, it is a wonderful experience. Its an experience were keen to do again and we want everyone to know they are welcome to come (well post more about that soon).

20.01.2022 Were proud of our men for finishing 4th in the 40+ at this years Pan Pacific Masters Games. Thank you to Rob, Russell, Bruce and Sandy who stepped in when the team was hit with injuries, without them our boys wouldnt have been able to play. Matthew, Buggy and Nathan we hope youre back for our next Masters.

18.01.2022 Hi all, Just want to take a moment to congratulate the Masters (combined) womens team that has been playing in the LBA senior season. It has been great to see the up and coming new masters and of course the Originals combined with some youth, not just play but to see them make it through to the Grand final next Thursday!! ... Good luck to all those playing and for those that are not able too, you helped get the team here so well done!

09.01.2022 The Deloraine Masters Men & Women are on tour once again, this time at the Pan Pacific Masters on the Gold Coast. With the Womens team notching up one win out... of 7 so far. They have had some very tough games but have been super competitive in all of them, but with the results not quite going their way. Also battling a few injury concerns along the way which never helps. The mens team have been playing extremely good quality basketball across the week collecting enough wins to put them into the semi finals today. Good luck fellas So once again the Deloraine Masters are doing a fabulous job at flying the flag for Deloraine Basketball Keep up the good work and best of luck for the rest of the tournament. 02.01.2022 Congratulations Ricky Lehman on 500 games! Tonight Rick becomes just the third male basketballer in the history of the Deloraine Amateur Basketball Association to reach the 500 game milestone. This is a massive achievement and to make it that bit more special he plays alongside the other 500 gamers Justin Hampton and Shaun Donohue. (with Shaun Bartlett not far from the milestone its no wonder their team is called the Fossils). Rick has now been playing and coaching basketb...all in Deloraine for around 40 years and has won many individual and team awards along the way. Rick has always been a very talented sports person in our community and has excelled in basketball, cricket, football and squash over the years.
