25.01.2022 Our first Delrico hose reel arrived today. The packaging was excellent and the delivery was exactly what I was quoted to the day, just not what you expect these days with many online sales. We ordered a special colour which looks the part and the quality seems like it is going to be really good. I am also an Australian manufacturer of a high quality totally different product, and it is great to see good quality genuine products that may be a bit more expensive initially, but ...you know you will eventually save money and you feel you have made the right decision as soon as you open the parcel. 19.01.2022 Our painting process on our hose reels means the paint will NOT come off. An example here is Colorbond JASPER done in Matt finish. It is exclusive to DELRICO reels and is available in practically any choice of Colorbond & Dulux colours. They are all done in our Sydney factory. It is NOT done in the mould manufacturing as we tried this just on 10 years ago and introduced 5 x different colours to the hose reel market but sadly found that while the colour looked great, the UV w...ould attack the casings and draw the colour out leaving a chalky, faded mistake. Back to the drawing board. With the help of a paint chemist ( and a blank cheque ) and a bloody lot of experimentation later, the formula, process, and painting style has proven that this technique is here for a very, very long time! Trust us, we didn't do all this to have a reel that would not last! So, if you wish to make your house, garden etc stand out......colour it with a DELRICO hose reel.....built to last!
