21.01.2022 Unfortunately, with the recent COVID update, we will be temporarily closing our restaurant and tasting room until mid-September. We will still be doing wine sales from Anakie on the weekend but no tastings or food. On a more exciting note, we have created a range of museum discovery experiences to bring some enjoyment to lockdown! They are available on our online store and we will begin delivery next week, from Wednesday, August 12.

03.01.2022 Yaya, the matriarch of the del Rio family, is turning 96 this weekend! Usually, she would be greeting customers and reminiscing on family stories with guests. Unfortunately due to COVID she'll be staying home this year and won't be joining us for her birthday. To honour her, on Sunday we will be opening a small selection of the 2011 del Rios Reserve 'Damiana' Chardonnay named in her honour, and offering complimentary tastings to guests. 2011 was a very cool year, nine ye...ars later this excellent Chardonnay has a bright straw colour, lovely aromas of stone fruit and peach kernel and a slightly funky old-world character, along with a rich mouthfeel and a delightful long and smooth finish.
