09.01.2022 With the recent government announcement regarding ongoing cyber attacks against Australian businesses, it has been recommended by the ACSC to ensure implementation of the Essential 8. 1. Application Control - prevent unwanted applications from running malicious code 2. Patch Applications - make sure your apps are up to date, especially if there is a security patch 3. Configure Office - make sure Office is set to block macros from the internet... 4. Application Hardening - tighten application settings to prevent scripts from running automatically (e.g. disable Flash in browsers) 5. Restrict Admin privileges - too many Admin accounts present a security risk 6. Mutli-Factor Authentication - strong authentication makes it harder for malicious attacks to get in 7. Patch Operating Systems - make sure your OS is using a supported version, and patch 'extreme risk' vulnerabilities within 48 hours 8. Daily backups - if something DOES get through, you'll want to be able to recover fast and with as little loss of data as possible. Check your backups are working, verify them regularly. For more info give us a call or see the link below: https://www.cyber.gov.au/publicat/essential-eight-explained

07.01.2022 COVID-19 Update During the uncertainty of the Coronavirus pandemic, Delta has implemented a policy to keep our staff as safe as possible which is guided by current information and recommendations from Australian Health. At the moment our workplace is not significantly impacted, however we appreciate the understanding of our clients for the following policies:... - Avoid physical contact such as handshakes. As the penguins say: "Smile and wave" - Wherever possible maintain social distancing of 1.5m from others. Our technicians may request clear space around the equipment they are working on and we appreciate the understanding of our clients - Wash hands regularly with soap and water, and use hand sanitiser. Avoid touching your face. Our on site technicians may request the use of bathroom facilities to wash their hands. - If you feel unwell with flu like symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who has been confirmed to be diagnosed, do not come to work for 14 days. Our staff may ask questions to confirm the risk and/or wellness of the people around them, and we appreciate your understanding at this precaution. Where possible, meetings and service will be performed remotely via online chat, video calls, or phone calls. Keep safe everybody and let's remember to treat each other with kindness and respect during this time. We're all in this together.
