25.01.2022 But hopefully about Australia Day I can, only 1 more sleep, will be down the sports ground this afternoon cleaning and setting up for our special day tomorrow. ...Don’t forget to bring your.gold coins for BBQ, . Lots of fun to be had 9.00am for a 9.30 start for parade.If we are blessed to have rain falling from the clouds we will relocate to the hall but at this stage it looks like it will be fine. See more

25.01.2022 Reminder meeting at 7 tonight at the show grounds to finalise Australia Day

22.01.2022 Only 5 more sleeps Delungra. Don’t forget Sunday at the sports ground, lots to see and do and lots of fun to have. 9.00am for a 9.30 start of the parade, prizes... for the best dressed bike and pet. The official ceremony will commence at 11.00. The Delungra CWA ladies are doing morning tea and a stall with lots of goodies. Don’t forget you can have your own stall or car boot market for free. Delungra RFS are doing a BBQ and there is also a lamb on the spit, gold coin donations will be going back to the RFS. Bring your flags and your Aussie sense of adventure, lets show em’ how Delungra does it. See more

17.01.2022 Well we all know that Anzac Day is going to be very different this year. The 3DC had been giving thought to what could be done. The beautiful Leah Humphrey has come up with a great idea. The idea is that each home make a wreath and hang it on their mailbox, front door, gate, whatever works for you, and then on Anzac morning the Ode will be played through the sound system at the Sports Ground at 5.55am as loud as we can. There will be a prize for the most outstanding and thoug...htful wreath, which will be judged on Anzac morning. There are some that will still want to lay a wreath at the memorial or at the cemetery just be mindful of social distances and please wait till there is no-one there before proceeding. Lets make Anzac Day in Delungra as special as it always is even though it has to be so different. Please share and let your neighbours know. The kids are all home so get them busy working on their wreaths can’t wait to see them all. See more

09.01.2022 Thank you to our wonderful community that supported Australia Day it was wonderful to have so much participation in our special day. Bigger and better with some fresh ideas. Next 3DC meeting on the 13th of Feb please come along, starts at 7.00pm

07.01.2022 Just a quick reminder that the AGM is on tonight at the HACC building 7.00pm. All positions will be declared vacant and nominations will be made for positions for 2020. Please come a long and join us at this important meeting and have your say. The 3DC is committed to our Delungra community and there is lots planned for 2020.

04.01.2022 Whos busy working on their wreaths for Anzac Day. I am. Don’t forget we will be having the Ode and the last post being conducted at the Delungra Sports ground S...aturday at 5.55am. It will be broadcast over the PA system so most of Delungra will hear it. If you wish to come to the Sports Ground in your car and display your wreath you are welcome to, just remember to stay in your vehicles and observe social distancing. We will be judging the Wreath, lantern display afterwards so make sure you have yours hung out for us to see. Lets make this Anzac Day as special as it always is in our town.
