23.01.2022 DELUXE TRANSFERS is showcasing the U.S.A in July, and chooses VIRGIN AUSTRALIA as its preferred airline partner. The daily 1050AM service VA 8 has 3 styles of seating. Today we will focus on the premium economy seat range. Virgin Australia originally started with 40 seats in the PE section. This has now been reduced to 24 seats. All seats have a 41 degree pitch, and the seating configuration is the classic 2-4-2. The level of amenities are excellent, and the seats are very co...mfortable. The best part of the PE section is the 'pantry'. Located between PE and Business class, the "pantry" has endless snacks and drinks in a self service section. All drinks are available, be it beer, wine, spirits, juices or soft drinks. There is plenty of snacks to choose from, and there is a wide selection of fruit. A tip, if you go up to the Business section, there is a Nespresso coffee machine that PE clients can utilise. It is not published, but it is a great way to have a great coffee during the flight. The advantage of Premium economy over economy is the quietness of the cabin. Also the toilets are far more accessible and the queues are far less when coming towards landing time. Each seat is very spacious, and comes with its own reading lamp. Premium Economy menus are very good. All meals are served on plates, and the food is very good. Virgin Australia will cost approximately $2200 return for PE seats if you book at the Travel Expo for a late November departure and a mid January return. 18.01.2022 The only people that Deluxe Transfer uses for large tour groups in L.A. is Super Shuttle. If you want someone really famous, make sure you ask for Mike in his big tour bus. Great for familys, or large groups. And by the way, Mike was once Stevie Wonder's personal chauffeur. He has all the low down on tinsel-town!!

11.01.2022 Deluxe Transfers is focusing today on the immediate surrounds of LAX. The Los Angeles Hilton Hotel at LAX Airport is our preferred hotel when needing to stay very close to LAX. Its address is 5625 W Century Blvd, and their direct phone number when calling from Australia is 0011 1 310 410 4000. This will connect you to their receptionist. The great thing about the Hilton LAX is there is a free shuttle bus that runs 24hrs. All baggage is taken care of by the Hilton staff and yo...u are on your way. They will drop you off at Tom Bradley Terminal 3, right at the terminal door. All we suggest is you tip the staff $5-10 for taking all your bags. That is what they are very happy to receive. The Hilton LAX is very comfortable, and very quiet. If you love watching planes take off and land, ask for a room on the 8th floor at the far end. You will be able to watch the planes take off and land all day/night. The facilities are of a very high standard. It also is a very cheap place to have your laundry done in house. Food prices considering they are very close to the Airport are extremely reasonable. After arriving at the LAX Hilton, we suggest that you try Carl Juniors Burger restaurant. Go out of the front of the Hilton and turn left. Follow the major road for about 120 metres and you will discover Carl's. Famous for their burgers, they really are excellent value and will keep any hungry person very happy. A secret tip, directly across the road from Carl's is a MOBIL service station. If you use your ATM card to withdraw cash, it is FEE FREE. I have never been charged a fee to withdraw cash out from this ATM. We think it may be the only one in all of California. There always seems to be a lot of people lining up to withdraw cash. Lets hope things have not changed. You will find many hotel options in the LAX vicinity. All budgets are catered for. But if you are looking for sensibly priced, safe, clean, accomodation, with a terrific free 24/7 shuttle, head for the LAX Hilton Hotel. And do not forget Carl's for a great burger,and the Mobil for the ATM. 07.01.2022 DELUXE TRANSFERS is pleased to share with you some great tips on how to get out of LAX on the cheap. There are 2 options. First there is the SUPERSHUTTLE SERVICE, which we recommend to people travelling in groups or if you want to travel as a family with a lot of luggage. The SUPERSHUTTLE is reasonably priced. A typical cost for a family of 6 with a lot of luggage to go from LAX to Anaheim is approximately US $110. That is a private, door to door service for you and your fami...ly. After a 12-13 hour trip from Australia, it is very comforting with children in tow, to simply get your private SUPERSHUTTLE to your Hotel. The easiest way TO FIND the SUPERSHUTTLE is after clearing US Customs, to go to the rear of the terminal. You will go up 2 flights of escalators and at the rear of the terminal, you will find a vast amount of SUPERSHUTTLES lined up. Your driver will have a sign for you. If you cannot find SUPERSHUTTLE pickup, the LAX staff ARE very helpful.They will escort you to the pickup area. If you are on a budget, and who isn't trying to keep more to spend at Disneyland, the second option is the regular bus network that services greater L.A. Go to www.lawa.org/flyaway. This is an excellent website that will give you a comprehensive list of all the bus routes in to the surrounds of Los Angeles. The great thing is, the buses in L.A are inexpensive. The bad thing is, L.A traffic is awful. If you are arriving after 7am, allow up to 2hrs plus to arrive at your hotel. A tip, to avoid the dreadful L.A traffic, and IF you can schedule it this way, ALWAYS try and arrive on a Sunday. It is certainly much calmer and less time consuming. When it comes to tipping, most drivers of all transport options WILL expect a tip. A couple of dollars is all that is needed IF you are catching a bus. IF you are catching the SUPERSHUTTLE, a sensible tip is $15-20. A tip regarding tips. The American service workers can become very upset if you DO NOT tip. Be prepared for some 'attitude" if you DO NOT tip. See more

03.01.2022 DELUXE TRANSFERS is delighted to showcase the U.S.A in July, with our preferred airline partner, VIRGIN AUSTRALIA. Leaving Brisbane everyday at 1050am, flight VA 7 is a Boeing 777-300er plane that is very comfortable to fly in. The flight time is approximately 12hrs 40 mins, but can sometimes be 13hrs plus. You will generally arrive in to LAX at 640am. But here is a tip. If you arrive before 6am, LAX will not let passengers disembark until after 630am. It is one of those travelling peculiarities that happens.
