07.01.2022 NSW Liberal Member for Albury Justin Clancy has released a video announcing cross border restrictions would be relaxed from midnight tonight. Brandishing a copy of the new Public Health Order being tabled in Parliament tonight, Mr Clancy says it will allow anyone with a valid border region permit to cross in to NSW from regional Victoria. Permit reasons are expected to be removed, which he says "brings back daily life". Exact details are yet to be released.
