Chantall volunteered her time umpiring our local spring netball comp, as well as joining the Deni MHAG volunteer group . Elle had a huge clean out and donated many bags to charity, not only helping others but feeling a sense of achievement too! . It links the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas and takes around 40 relaxing minutes to get to either side. 11.01.2022 DTC + LEARN = Week 4 #deni5in5 . We were all busy last week feeding our brains and excited to be learning something new for the 5 ways to Wellness Challenge. . Chantall was lucky enough to WIN a Thermomix last month, and in doing so committed to using it for the week and learning what it can do! ... She made Rum Balls, Ice Cream, Yoghurt, Choc chip biscuits , Banana muffins, Mash Potato & steamed veggies. . Elle trialled a new Chocolate cake recipe, and had fun learning to substitute healthier ingredients. It was a hit with the fam . Bec has been dabbling in Intermittent Fasting and reading the ‘Delay, Don’t Deny’ book She’s also been listening to some podcasts on the subject! Very interesting . 08.01.2022 OUR DOORS ARE OPEN - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY from 1st June! In light of further restrictions easing across the state, we are excited by the idea that travel opportunities are back on the horizonyayyyyy!!! We are thrilled to announce that as of Monday, 1st of June, the DTC Team will be available by appointment only, Monday Friday from 9am 3pm! To ensure everyones health and safety is protected, we will have hand sanitiser available and 1.5 metre markings across the of...fice for social distancing measures. Whilst we are fortunate enough to have plenty of space within the office to adhere to the requirements, we will need to limit the number of people coming in and out, hence why an appointment will need to be made prior to visiting. WE WILL NOT have the office open for walk in enquiries at this point. 07.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW... that two thirds of people on Earth have never seen or touched snow! The girls at DTC (Deni Travel Centre) have all been to the snow over the years with their friends and families. Heres what we think.... ... I love a good challenge! Whilst Im scared the majority of the time, nothing beats the adrenaline of reaching the end of a snow run in one piece ~ Chantall I love going to the snow and watching everyone fall down while having a hot choc in front of the warm fire. I enjoy watching the kids explore the snow and make new memories too. ~Jacinta The best part about heading to the snow for the first time with your family is seeing the reaction on the kids faces! Its pure magic. ~ Bec I dont love the snow but I do enjoy an adventure. From the drive up the mountain to lots of hours spend on the numerous runs on offer. I spend most of the time ensuring I remain upright. I have most fun when a group of friends head up the mountain, whether its for a day trip or weekend.
