25.01.2022 We are calling on the Andrews Government to take action and introduce an independent body to investigate police misconduct. We believe that until there is a proper independent police complaints system, we will continue to see injustices against Victorians. It is time that the Andrews Government implement the Independent Broad-Based Anti-Corruption Committees recommendations without delay! https://www.theage.com.au//police-should-not-be-investigat

20.01.2022 In a Committal Hearing, the Magistrate determines whether there is enough evidence for the matter to proceed to a trial. If there is insufficient evidence, the Magistrate may discharge the accused person. The Andrews government has commissioned a review of Committal Hearings. We strongly disagree with abolishing Committal Hearings as it is interfering with the accuseds rights and only encouraging them to enter an early plea of guilty for a sentence discount. https://www.theage.com.au//court-committals-could-be-aboli

17.01.2022 It was recently announced that Informer 3838 or Lawyer X who was a Barrister at the time acted as an Informant against her own clients during Melbournes Gangland Wars. It is now suggested that up to six more lawyers may have also acted as Informants. This is a disgrace to the legal profession and individuals involved should be brought to light. https://www.abc.net.au//lawyer-x-informer-3838-ro/10784912

13.01.2022 We require a new approach for children who commit crimes. Children should have caring professionals case managing them as opposed to being incarcerated. The effects of a child being incarcerated can be catastrophic and cause more damage than rehabilitation. https://www.theguardian.com//when-we-put-children-in-priso
