23.01.2022 R U OK? Although it’s a National day, I recommend asking this throughout every day conversations with your people. Unless you have earned the right to the truth by sharing your time etc you may get the inevitable I’m ok when you suspect your loved one, colleague, friend or neighbour really isn’t. How about you? R U OK? If not reach out to someone you trust or perhaps visit your GP or see a professional mental health clinician to see how they may assist. Mental health is for everyone. 22.01.2022 Haven Psychology Centre is my baby. I raised it from a thought seed. I wanted to work more experientially with clients who have trauma stuck not only in their mental health, but their entire health system. Physical, mental, gut, sexual, relational health are all encompassing. No one system can work optimally if another is a bit off. How much more worse for our beautiful rainbow community where societal constructs dictate the very physical, spiritual, and emotional state of how to be. Not on our watch. At Haven you are the expert of you. We enable the clarity that sometimes gets mixed up in the chaos of expectations, reality and life in general. How can people be safe if society tries to deny their very being.? We are only a year old but I’m so proud of how inclusive and affirming our team are.

16.01.2022 I helped an older client a couple of years ago celebrate a significant birthday milestone with a gender reveal party. They came out after decades of living a life full of acting as a character in a movie of my life. It was a truly affirming celebration for them - but no damage resulting in plane crashes or bush fires! With permission from my client to share... But yes I do agree that in general, gender reveal parties are not necessary to celebrate the miracle of babies
