16.01.2022 Here is a fine example of a grand old jumper. Desmond was a star of the decade from 1900 - 09 and did more than any other horse to establish show-ring jumping and especially high jumping as a spectacular sport. Here he is in 1907 setting a Sydney showground record of 6'10".
16.01.2022 Miss Dolly Fogg and Sunrise - a pair of champions. He was Champion Saddle Horse in 1914 at Sydney Royal.
10.01.2022 The last of the pre-war champions Mark Radium (with his distinctive white blaze) and his rider Jack McGee over the high jump at Sydney Royal Easter Show in 1949. They dominated the jumping scene from 1946 until their last appearance in 1955.
