15.01.2022 Reminder Today is Positive Education Day dress your children in bright clothes! 'From Strength to Strength in Tough Times' is the theme for this years Positive Education Day. We will be focusing on character strengths our own, and the strengths of those around us, those people who have helped us get through a difficult year and support each other. Colour your Threads for PosEd, to show our support in making wellbeing visible. If you can please bring a gold coin donation!!

15.01.2022 Wow! What a wonderful celebration it was yesterday. Our backyard transformed into a rainbow sea and the children frockiled about as they had their faces painted and hair coloured. We raised $40.00. Thank you to our wonderful families for joining us in this celebration of visible wellbeing.

14.01.2022 As many of you already know next Monday will be Jill Martyn's last day as a Teacher at DCC. Jill has been an inspiration to us all during the 8 years she has been employed at DCC. We wish her all the best in her next chapter of her life.

10.01.2022 We hope you have had a lovely school holidays. Term 4 begins tomorrow and we will continue with drop off and pick up at the side gate. We will change to our summer program with outdoor play at the beginning of the day. We will have a sunscreen station outside the gate for you to put sunscreen on your child before they enter the centre, alternatively you can sunscreen your child before you arrive. We would like to advise you that Margie Symington (Thursday/ Friday teacher) will be the teacher in the Discoverers room 5 days a week for the remainder of 2020.

09.01.2022 With travel restrictions easing across NSW, many of us have taken the opportunity to travel with the kids over the school holidays. We have done an amazing job ...at maintaining physical distancing and hand hygiene over the last few months, but we may have come into contact with people from areas where COVID-19 is continuing to circulate during our travels. As the kids head back to class and we head back to work, it is important we remain vigilant to keep COVID-19 out of our schools and workplaces. Those who are experiencing even mild symptoms should seek testing at their nearest COVID-19 clinic before going back to school or work, and should stay home until they receive their result.
