25.01.2022 The CWA Community Soup Day is on again today at Denmark Community Resource Centre. Come on down for lunch. Hearty soups, cakes, slices and beverages are available. Lunch time sessions are 11.30am -1pm and 1pm - 2.30pm

22.01.2022 Have you checked out the exhibitions at the Centre this weekend? We have the Mill Art Group with their amazing array of local talent in The Gallery. And in the Training Room we have the Denmark Embroidery Group. They have created a fantastic scene of embrodery through the ages including from Prisoner of War examples and pieces from over seas!... Do yourself a favour and check them out!

17.01.2022 Don't forget that the CWA Community Soup Lunch is on tomorrow beginning at 11 am. Mushroom, Lamb Shank, Minestrone, Chicken noodle are just a tip of the soup iceberg! The two sessions have been merged to one long session but get in quick before your favourite has gone!

15.01.2022 I forgot to mention that we are having some yummy pre event nibbles - hence the 'please come along earlier to the live viewing'. And its FREE! I have had the pleasure of pre-recording all sessions in case of technical difficulties.. the pre-recordings went really well and all our presentations are amazing! You dont want to miss this!

14.01.2022 Learning about Espalier Fruit Tree Systems At the community garden workshop coming up this Saturday, Neal Collins, our local Denmark organic garden guru, will show how to establish an Espalier apple and pear system, as well as how to start growing your pumpkin and cucumbers for summer harvest. (Espalier is the horticultural and ancient agricultural practice of controlling woody plant growth for the production of fruit, by pruning and tying branches to a frame.)... The last two garden workshops have been fun and educational as shown in these pics. 14.01.2022 Our gallery is all packed up and ready for this summers art collections what a turn out we have had! A huge thank you goes out to Denmark Historical Society Inc. Western Australia for lending us the Bert Saw photo exhibition and items from their collection.. you have been nothing short of amazing! Thank you (!) to everyone that lent their items to the display.. you answered our call out and came through with the goods ... A double check of our competition entries needs to be done.. i dont think anyone correctly guessed our mystery objects keep your eyes peeled.. we will let you know on Wednesday.

At the Repair Cafe on this coming Saturday, we are offering free advice on everyday ...maintenance, such as tyre pressure, check your spare, how to jack up you=r car and change a tyre, check water oil etc. Bring your car down from 10 to noon on Saturday for helpful advice. PS - you don't have to be young,or any other criteria !, just need some advice on regular maintenance of your vehicle.
