14.01.2022 Rockcliffe has retained its standing as a winery of exceptional quality, the highest honour that industry doyen James Halliday bestows on wineries. Rockcliffes big four wines, judged gold class, were the single site chardonnay 2017; single site pinot noir 2017; single site shiraz 2016, and the single site cabernet sauvignon 2016. As well, two wines were judged to be on the cusp of gold medal status the single site riesling 2017, and the Third Reef chardonnay 2017.... And there were seven wines in the silver medal category that were highly recommended the Third Reef riesling 2017; Third Reef cabernet sauvignon 2016; Third Reef sauvignon blanc 2017; Third Reef rosé 2017; Third Reef pinot noir 2017; Third Reef shiraz 2016, and Quarram Rocks shiraz cabernet 2017.
