They are familiar with your history, can talk to you about risk factors and family history, and treat some skin cancers. They might also refer you to a dermatologist, if needed. Skin cancers don't all look the same but there are some signs to look out for: a spot that is different from other spots on the skin; a spot, mole or freckle that has changed in size, shape or colour; e.g redness or a new swelling beyond the border of the mole. a sore that doesn’t heal; a spot that bleeds. a change in sensation, such as itchiness, tenderness, or pain.

Dr Newman will be working in Denmark on Thursdays and Fridays commencing on the 6th of August 2020 Tina graduated from UWA School of Medicine in 2010. ... She worked in a variety of Hospitals prior to commencing General Practice training. These include Fremantle, Broome, Various Rural NSW & Queensland Hospitals. Her specialties at the time were Critical Care, Anaesthetics and Paediatrics. Tina feels privileges to share the health journey with patients. Oliver completed a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Anatomical Sciences before finishing medical school at UWA. He moved to the Northern Territory after his internship for two years and loved working in remote hospitals, which sparked his interest in rural generalism. Oli’s family has had a farm in Denmark for over 20 years, so he is looking forward to finally having the opportunity to work in Denmark. Outside of work he likes spending time in the kitchen, trail running and surfing. After a long wait Hector finally received his Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) from The Honourable Kim Beazely AC, Governor of Western Australia in a ceremony held on Tuesday at Government House. Hector received this honour in the 2019 Queens Birthday Honours for his service to medicine through a range of roles.
