18.01.2022 Its week 5 and the garden is just loving the sunshine. Jill is watering and giving her young ones lots of attention. Remember in the heat not to forget to water, avoid getting the leaves wet in the heat of the day.

17.01.2022 What a great day! we launched our Grow Free cart and had 7 plots adopted in the garden. Grow Free open times are Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm and Sunday mornings. Bring your excess produce and take what you need Thanks to everyone who made it a great day

17.01.2022 Week 2 : All is going well at Den's Garden and Jill hasn't killed a thing. All of her veggies are growing well and is remembering to water during the warm weather and even has a flower on one of her tomato plants.

12.01.2022 It may be only days until Winter but the ladies and children from Play n Chat this last week have shown that we still have much to harvest.

12.01.2022 I've picked some tomatoes this morning from the community garden and placed them on the grow free cart but left the card in the porch, if you are passing you are most welcome to help yourself.

08.01.2022 Jill's Gardening Journey. Over the next few months we will follow Jill's "Adopt a Plot", plot, as she experiences the highs and lows of gardening. In Jill's own words she's not a gardener but excited to find her green thumbs. Today she planted, 2 types on tomato's, chilli's and capsicum.

05.01.2022 We had a great working bee in the garden today! Lots of weeding and tidying up - and the front verge was planted out with veggies and herbs - all for our neighbours to enjoy. The Grow Free cart is a little empty at the moment so if you have any excess produce please come and leave it. There is some garlic and succulents to take. Our open times are mon - thurs 9-3 and Sunday mornings. Drop in and say hi!

02.01.2022 Thursday night Den's garden plot holders gathered for Christmas dinner! Merry Christmas everyone - and we look forward to sharing again with you in 2018. Just a reminder the Grow Free cart won't be in use for the next 2 weeks. Back to usual hours from the 8th Jan.
