24.01.2022 The health and safety of our patients and staff are most important to us at Dental Care On Pulteney. As the situation with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has evolved, we have introduced extra precautionary measures in our practice to minimise the risk of exposure. We wish to reassure our patients that in addition to following the Universal Infection Control Policies as set by the ADA (Australian Dental Association), we are taking the following additional steps:... Postponement of appointment for all patients who travelled from overseas in the past 14 days, patients who have possible contact with anyone that has been diagnosed with COVID-19, or patients who are unwell. Temperature checks for all staff at the start of their shift. Temperature checks for all patients and visitors to our clinic. Additional regular disinfection of all surfaces throughout the practice (eg. door handles, HICAPS machine, desks, pens). All magazines and book have been removed from our waiting area. 18.01.2022 ! We are back to level 2 restrictions! The Australian Dental Association has downgraded dental restrictive practice from level 3 to level 2. This means that we are now able to provide more treatment for our wonderful patients at Dental Care on Pulteney! We can now perform examinations, relief of pain treatments and restorative procedures under rubber dam. Unfortunately, until we are on level 1, we cannot provide you with a thorough Ultrasonic clean.... We would like to reassure our patients that we are committed to keeping you safe. We are proud to advise that we are continuing to practice under the highest level of infection control. We have obtained adequate personal protective gear, including masks, and are following the latest Australian Dental Association guidelines. Dr Katelyn Maynard graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2017. She has been part of our support team for over 4 years assisting with Dr Khuong Pho in the clinic every Saturday. She brings the right mix of youth and enthusiasm, a wealth of knowledge around her work and an alignment of philosophies with the team at Dental Care On Pu...lteney. Her friendly demeanour always makes the patients feel comfortable and at ease. Dr Katelyn Maynard enjoys building a common interest with her patients and taking the time to talk with them about their needs and concerns. She is committed to delivering excellence in all aspects of patient care. In her spare time she likes to keep active, socialise with friends, support Australian artists and grow house plants.
