You can do it!

21.01.2022 With only 13 weeks left of 2020, now is a good time to check the level of dental cover offered by your private health fund. With most funds renewing their benefits at the beginning of the new calendar year, you can take full advantage of the rebates currently available to you knowing they'll be topped up again by the time your next check up arrives.

20.01.2022 We're happy to say we'll be open again from Monday 23rd of November. Thanks for your patience everyone!

19.01.2022 In a majority of cases, it's not the dentistry that's expensive, it's the lack of prevention and early treatment. Regular exams and cleans are vital for picking up and fixing problems before they arise, or before they become worse. Unfortunately when it comes to teeth, the longer you it leave it, the more expensive it will become. A small amount of decay, for example, can be treated easily with a quick and inexpensive filling. Leave it a few months, or even a year, and it c...ould progress into a root canal, which will cost over $1k. Remember to book in for a check up and clean every 6 months so you can save more in the long run!

18.01.2022 How are we all enjoying the school holidays so far? Just a reminder that now may be the opportune time to bring your little ones in for a check up and clean. We have TV's on the ceiling so they can watch kids shows while they get their teeth checked, super friendly Dentists and Hygienist's, and a free gift pack at the end filled with all sorts of goodies!... Call us today and book an appointment at either our Pirie Street or Brighton practice.

18.01.2022 We hope you're all having a lovely long weekend. Enjoy your day off and make sure you're giving yourselves some much needed rest and rejuvenation

12.01.2022 If two teeth are touching, then the answer is yes. Although we know brushing our children's teeth is hard enough at the best of times, you can make flossing easier by using floss brushes or picks, which come in varied colours and sizes. We recommend Grin Kids Biodegradable Dental Flosses. They not only come in cool colours, but they're environmentally friendly and inexpensive.

10.01.2022 Although the majority of your dental issues come down to your diet and dental hygiene, it's been proven that genetics can actually play a role in your risk of decay and the colour of your teeth. 09.01.2022 Due to the South Australian Government implementing a 6 day lockdown from Thursday the 19th November to Tuesday 24th November inclusive, Dental Care Professionals will be closed during this period. Stay safe, everyone. The DCP team

08.01.2022 Extra bones and arteries are amongst the new anatomical changes that are appearing instead of our no-longer-required wisdom teeth. Check out the link below for more information. https://www.9news.com.au//ac83a9d7-d556-48c0-9ca5-48d8edb7

05.01.2022 We're finding more and more of our patients are using clove oil as a home remedy for toothache. Given cloves have anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anaesthetic properties, we can definitely see why. Just remember, however, that this is only a temporary fix for any toothache, and you should still book in to see your Dentist in case any further work is required.

04.01.2022 Dental Care Professionals have teamed up with TerraCycle and now have a disposal bin for all your old toothbrushes, electric toothbrush heads, toothpaste tubes and floss containers. Once collected by TerraCycle, they're recycled into benches, tables, and even new playgrounds! Just ensure the items are thoroughly cleaned before disposal and fall under the categories listed above (boxes and blister packaging are not accepted). You'll find the bin by our front desk, and clearly labeled with the TerraCycle logo.

01.01.2022 Anxiously waiting for 5pm to hit so you can go enjoy your long weekend?? Us too! Whatever you're up to, we hope you stay safe and enjoy that extra day off with friends and family
