09.01.2022 WE ARE BACK! Although we never left there is some normality returning. We are now back at stage 1 for dental procedures. To put it simply though this means that we are able to treat patients and commence our routine and scheduled treatments again. Although there are still some minor differences to pre COVID, we are still thoroughly screening all patients as well as continuing pre-procedure mouthwashes for every patient.... Our waiting room is still not what it use to be to help with social distancing and between each patient our whole practice from the surgery room to reception area is still throughly disinfected after each patient. However we are still unable to treat any patients diagnosed or have been in contact with any confirmed cases of COVID-19 as well as some other criteria. This is where our screening comes in. 08.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE This time it’s GOOD NEWS! As the risk of COVID-19 infection in the community has decreased, the AHPPC has advocated a gradual transition to business as usual, by supporting, as a beginning of that process, a step-back to Level 2 restrictions for dentistry.... There is still some restrictions for what can and can’t be done. We still need to do our part to try and avoid any risk of spread, so many aerosol procedures are still limited however we are moving towards the direction of some normality!
