13.01.2022 Hi everyone, I think its clear now that dealing with Covid-19 is a marathon rather a sprint. Under our current restrictions were not allowed to generate aerosols from the drills right now (which is 90% of our work!), but were still open for any emergencies you may have, so dont hesitate to get in touch if youre in pain!... Just call anytime on 9438 5103, and our team will advise you on what to do. Weve been putting things in place for all our staff, so they have a job to do, or come back to, once things start to improve. And they will. Right now, any regular appointments are still on hold, so well be in touch when all that changes. In the meantime, stay safe, be kind to each other, and use this downtime in a way that makes you feel as good as you can. Well be here, posting things for you to share with your friends and family. All the best, The Dentessence team

13.01.2022 Lockdown 3.0 By now us Melbournians are very familiar with what lockdown means and how to adjust our lives so that we can beat this virus ~ As our routines change to staying home, no longer are we getting ready to ‘leave the house’. Remember to still include your morning brush before starting your day at home! Just because no one is going to know you have morning breath, does not mean those bad bacteria have left your teeth from overnight ... ~ So remember to keep brushing those teeth twice a day and we look forward to hopefully seeing you in the clinic soon! ~ If you would like more information or to book an appointment: Send us a message (03) 9438 5103 [email protected] www.dentessence.com.au

We are happy to help over the phone with any dental queries you may have. To help in limiting the spread of coronavirus, routine dental care will need to be postponed. If you have an upcoming appointment with us, we will be in touch.... We will get through these trying times together. Till then, stay safe!

11.01.2022 ~ E L E C T R I C V S. M A N U A L ~ This is a question which many patients ask us (and we ask ourselves too!) ~ Some studies have shown that electric toothbrushes can be better in helping decrease gum inflammation. The smaller, round toothbrush head on electric toothbrushes enables it to get in those tricky places, which can often be missed. ~... However if you prefer a manual toothbrush and your dentist has said you are brushing well, it can work just as well for some patients! ~ If you would like more information or to book an appointment: Send us a message (03) 9438 5103 [email protected] www.dentessence.com.au

04.01.2022 Meet Dr Sandeep Arora from Dentessence. Dentessence was founded by Sandeep in 2010 after working across various Dental sectors since 2004. He wanted to bring to...gether the best of everything he had learnt over the years to create a practice that provided the highest quality of dentistry in an environment that patients felt genuinely cared for. Through his 16 years of experience, he has worked in public and private dental practices across Melbourne as well as teaching undergraduate dental students at Melbourne University. Over the years Sandeep has had a constant drive to continue to excel professionally which led him to undertake post graduate study at Melbourne University with extensive training in implant dentistry in 2008, and more recently in 2015, Sandeep undertook a 2 year certificate in orthodontics (Progressive Orthodontic Seminars). These courses add to Sandeeps ever-expanding toolkit and helps him to offer dental implants and orthodontics on top of all the general dental services that are offered at Dentessence. Its easy to see that Sandeep really loves what he does and his patients appreciate his calm nature, ease of explanations as well as his friendly and gentle approach and demeanour. Dentessence has expanded and can now be found in Hurstbridge as well as Diamond Creek. The team work across both locations and are professional and very welcoming. We look forward to introducing them to you on this page soon. In light of the current COVID-19 safety guidelines, only emergency cases can be seen at both clinics. Staff are taking names of people requiring general, non-emergency appointments who will be contacted as soon as Dentessence receives the go-ahead to operate normally. You can find Dentessence at 39 Chute St, Diamond Creek. Phone: (03) 9438 5103 Please follow the Dentessence Facebook page for updates. #diamondcreek #KnowLiveLoveDiamo

04.01.2022 Remember to brush twice a day! Routines in 2020 have definitely changed but make sure that your tooth brushing routine is continuing ~ Brushing before bed is important as plaque from food and drinks throughout the day creates a layer of bad bacteria on the teeth ... ~ Brushing in the morning is equally as important as bacteria in the mouth overnight have the chance to multiply and can cause decay and gum disease if not cleaned away! If you would like more information or to book an appointment: Send us a message (03) 9438 5103 [email protected] www.dentessence.com.au

03.01.2022 ~ I N V I S I A L I G N ~ Invisalign is a clear alternative to braces. It straightens your teeth with a series of clear aligners! ~ Invisalign is perfect for those who are looking for a more discreet way to straighten their teeth. The clear aligners are translucent and can be removed for special events ... ~ Clear aligners are not suited for every patient’s smile, so it is best to speak with your dentist to see whether Invisalign is the right option for you If you would like more information or to book an appointment: Send us a message (03) 9438 5103 [email protected] www.dentessence.com.au
