25.01.2022 Re: corona virus. 1) This is how we are now communicating with friends and family. 2) in the dental surgery we are still seeing patients until we are told that we are on stage 3 restrictions and this looks like it wont be to far away. As always the safety of patients and staff is paramount so we have taken these necessary steps. If you come for an appointment via car then please stay in your car and we will message you when you can come in and go straight through without ne...eding to wait in the waiting room. If you are in the waiting room then you will notice we have removed quite a few chairs so there is a big distance in between. We have hand sanitiser at the entrance so please use this before entering and on leaving the premises. If you go to the bathroom please wash your hands with soap and water as per the instruction sheets. Please call if you have any concerns and if we are legislated to close then we will update with further information. #coronavirus#dentistryprshran See more

14.01.2022 Please be aware that despite the current covid-19 virus, we are still working in the dental office as usual to look after our dental patients needs. Our strict infection controls that we have had in place for many years, are still being religiously adhered to, other than restricting patients who have recently returned form overseas (which you should be self quarantining anyway) or anyone with symptoms, will be politely asked to postpone treatment. Please call if you have any concerns to discuss further and in the meantime please stay safe

14.01.2022 Weve been advised by the federal branch of the Australian dental association that we are now on level 1 which means we can treat virtually as normal but excluding patients that have covid19 diagnosis or symptoms without diagnosis. We just need confirmation by the Victorian branch of ada. Hopefully that will happen this Monday #convid19,#dentistrymelbourne

13.01.2022 Great news!! The Victorian government has eased COVID restrictions and the dental association has therefore announced that dentistry is now on level 1 which means we can now treat all patients as usual and not just for emergencies only. Please note we are still practicing within COVID safe rules ie we will still take routine temperature and ask you to keep wearing masks until instructed to take them off. You will be asked to use hand sanitiser and respect social distancing. Give us a call if you need further information or to book an appointment

12.01.2022 Coronavirus update. As expected stage 3 will now into force as of 31st March. What this means is that our hygiene department has effectively closed till further notice and we are only able to treat dental patients who are considered an emergency. If you are in dental pain or have a swelling then call us and we will do the best we can to look after you. In the meantime please stay safe and take on board what the government and health authorities are advising

10.01.2022 Effects of tooth wear. This is the teeth of a 35 year old female who had worn down her teeth and although she had no pain she was on the path of complete future collapse with multiple problems unless she had intervention treatment. Unfortunately she had to move interstate and I could not treat her. #toothwear #fullmouthrehabilitation #porcelaincrowns #toothrepair

10.01.2022 A quick look at the progression over time if missing teeth are NOT replaced. The image next to the face, is of the lower jaw bone and it shows how it shrinks and then the association of how the facial features are affected at the same time. This is why you see that sunken in face look when patients remove their full dentures #cosmetic dentistry #missingteeth #allon4#porcelaincrowns #fullmouthrehabilitation

04.01.2022 Your smile is an integral part of your overall appearance. It isn't just one tooth or even a couple of teeth. It's the full picture, the whole package. Imagine you're walking down the street looking at all the houses. Which ones do you like? Nice windows and doors get lost if the paint is peeling or a crazy colour. And a nice house doesn't look so nice if the garden is a jungle. If you've been giving your dream smile some extra thoughts lately, we'd like to give you this free... e-book as a gift: "Getting your Smile Right". No need to sign a form or jump through a hoop - Just follow the link below to get your free copy now! Go to: https://www.smileright.com.au/c/l/5e9d10970f66086efc76930f

02.01.2022 The Victorian premier Daniel Andrews, imposed Stage 4 restrictions tonight for metropolitan Melbourne but the Victorian Dental Association has advised that a this point one of the reasons people can leave their houses is for dental treatment, therefore if you have an upcoming dental appointment you are still able to attend Please note we still have strict infection control measures in place, including social distancing, and would also ask you to wear your face masks when attending our practice and keep them on until you come into the treatment room Hope this helps but if anything changes we will be in touch or you can call our rooms for further information

01.01.2022 Gives you a nice humbling feeling when you receive thank you from the least expected in this case a beautiful note from twin 8 year olds #dentistmelbourne #childrensdentist
