24.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE As of Monday 27 April, we will be able to start offering more services once again as restrictions are being downgraded from Level 3 to Level 2 which is fantastic news for all. Please start booking in your appointments again and we will let you know if we are able to treat your concern straight away or whether you still need to wait a little while.... We will continue with our extra infection control protocol at Dentists of Tasmania for your protection which includes the following: * Immediately entering the surgery, patients are to use the hand sanitiser located on the reception desk. * Any patients who has travelled to any overseas country or to the North West of the State, are asked to reschedule their appointment for at least 14 days *Any patient who has come in contact with any person who has contracted the virus, are asked to reschedule their appointment for at least 14 days. * Please come alone to your appointment unless you are the carer for a patient To book your appointment please call 6265 2009 or book online at www.dentistsoftas.com.au

17.01.2022 BUSINESS AS USUAL Dear Patients At the moment, it is business as usual at Dentists of Tasmania.... As a measure to protect our patients from potentially contracting the COVID-19 virus we have added the following protocol: Immediately entering the surgery, patients are to use the hand sanitiser located on the reception desk. Any patients who has travelled to any overseas country, are asked to reschedule their appointment at least 14 days upon arrival on home soil. Any patient who has come in contact with any person who has contracted the virus, are asked to reschedule their appointment at least 14 days upon arrival on home soil. In addition, our staff will be regularly decontaminating all surface areas with anti-bacterial such as door handles, counter tops, magazines, chairs, floor etc. As usual we will be maintaining our high standard of infection control such as sterilising, single use instruments, plastic barriers on instruments, regular hand washing from staff and many more. 06.01.2022 UPDATE FROM THE TEAM AT DENTISTS OF TASMANIA Following the Australian Dental Association Guidelines, we will be changing the way we work during the COVID-19 pandemic effective immediately. 1. What does this mean?... This mean that we are only able to see patients with urgent dental needs and we are limited on what services we can provide. Please call us 6265 2009 and we can determine your situation is considered urgent. 2. Everyday between 8am - 10am Everyday between 8am-10am we are putting aside for patients over the age of 60 or immuno compromised 3. Financial Hardship Measures in place To assist those in financial hardship during this time, we will accept rebate only for patients with a dental health benefits upon request. For patients without a health fund and experiencing difficulty we can set up an interest free payment plan unto the value of a $1000 4. Our Waiting Room We are requesting that where possible only the patient undergo treatment enters the premise and ask all others to wait outside unless you are the primary carer or guardian of the patient. As we mentioned last update, we have introduced additional measures to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible during this time
