24.01.2022 This was a surprise family portrait for Rae's 70th birthday. No one had any idea that I was coming along to their party to take some snaps. I got told it would be just her and 6 grandchildren annnnd it turned out to be 16 family members all up!!! Keeping me on my toes. The youngest wasn't playing nice for half of it which proved to be a challenge but we got her smiling in the end and it was so much fun. Happy Birthday to Rae you have such a nice family and thank you so much for having me

17.01.2022 A little while ago I had an awesome day out doing this thing called Project Street. It was a little fundraiser for Anglicare / Oxford Foyer, an initiative helping young people get on track with an unbelievable 90% success rate!!! We all shot - edited - printed - exhibited - auctioned all in one day.... I was completely out of my comfort zone. I initially thought I would just do some abstract geometric shapes or something and found scouting for these was harder than I anticipated and wishing I went and found some portrait situations. Any way we were allowed one print, out of these 3 shortlisted I went with the last one and hey, it sold for more I thought it would. Such a long but great day/night, great turn out and great number reached for such a great place to donate which is close to my heart and I totally believe in.

15.01.2022 Dan and Illana pt.1... I offer free engagement shoots in my wedding package for a couple of reasons. One being that we get to know each other before the big day ahead and also, so the couple get to see the magic they can bring to the table like these two dead set legends right here...

15.01.2022 I wanted to share with you this project I did whilst I was still studying at tafe. I had a bit of a quirky approach to this . I got them to write down their name in their less dominant hand (so if they were right handed, they were writing with their left) then got them to write down their postcode, then without skipping a beat a asked them to write down the biggest thing they have achieved doesn't matter how big or small, past or present and the answers were really cool. I k...new this would be interesting, although I had no idea what deep connections I would get from doing this. It was intimate, it was personal and it was vulnerable. All these were done in their homes and the texture in the background was one of the closest things next to them. It was a piece of the time and place we shared together. These amazing humans put their hand up to be my models and I'm so grateful for the connections we got from this. You may notice that I'm in the series, that's because I ran out of time and had multiple male models cancel on me, so I did myself. I think the rawness of it all with very minimal skin retouching and a heavy texture in the background in really striking, maybe I'm just bias because I had the experience behind it but this is one of my favourite things I have done. What do you think?

05.01.2022 Quite possibly the coolest party I've ever been to. This was a Jesse and Be's joint birthday, a mother and son celebrating their 30th and a 60th revolution around the sun. There was a selection of drinks on tap, a bloody food truck, killer live music, fire dancers not to mention the great company of great people. Thanks for having me guys it was a hoot. 02.01.2022 Dan and Illana pt.2... Seriously these guys did something to my soul!!! I got a bit overwhelmed when editing these and made it so hard to cull them back (That's why you see a 20 image post, I can't cull even for the socials) every moment was so much fun and authentic and intimate and all things lovey dovey. They reminded me how great this job can be, for that I thank you so much guys, wishing you all the best into the future.
