21.01.2022 From Matthew Absalom {University of Melbourne): As you may already know, each year my students in Italian 6 put on a production of Dario Fo's satirical play Non tutti i ladri vengono per nuocere. Due to the global pandemic, in 2020 the project has required a radical rethinking to make it possible under Covid conditions of separation. This year, we have two "performances": a classic radio play but updated with 21st century technology and a revamped photo romance. In both cases..., as always, the groups have worked on linguistic strategies to assist those who either speak no Italian or have limited Italian.
