25.01.2022 TECH TIME! The Rig. Weve had a number of cameras and setups since the DOP was established in 2014, updating our equipment as we learned more and technology progressed.... This is by far the best quality and most efficient shooting rig weve had. The Sony Alpha series is incredible. Crisp vision, perfect colours, super-fast focus. Heres what we use, for those playing at home: : @sonyalpha 6300 s: @sonyalpha E PZ 18-105mm f/4 G OSS : @deitymicrophones V-Mic D3 Pro : @siruiaustralia P424-SR w/ VH-10 Head : @godox_photo_equipment LEDP120C This is captured into our computer through HDMI into the @blackmagicnewsofficial UltraStudio Mini Recorder hardware and Blackmagic Media Express software, then edited with @apple Final Cut Pro X. 25.01.2022 Joshua Bitton is an excellent American actor friend of ours. As well as being an fine performer himself with a slew of credits to his name (HBO's 'The Pacific' & 'The Night Of', Netflix's 'Daredevil' & 'Mindhunter' to name a few) he's also a rather great teacher. Just ask Eminem. The good news for you is he's coming to Australia in January 2018 to give masterclasses in both Sydney and Melbourne, presented by the Equity Foundation. And they're free if you're a paid-up member! ...I highly recommend jumping on the waitlist if you can. There's will also be a live 'In Conversation' in Sydney (hosted by myself), chatting with Josh and our very own Nicole da Silva ('Wentworth', 'Doctor Doctor') about all things acting, LA-ing, pilot seasoning. Get along!

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Kate Mulvany on landing an amazing lead role in the new Jordan Peele-produced Amazon series 'The Hunt', also starring Al Pacino, Josh Radnor, Lena Olin, Carol Kane and a diverse ensemble of remarkable actors. Kate was cast in the role from a self-tape she recorded with us, and we couldn't be happier for her!

22.01.2022 Yes, we are still taping during COVID-19. Our studio has the required space for social distancing and is cleaned before and after each session. Theres quite a few projects casting at the moment so get in touch - were here to help!

One colour chart says it’s ‘manatee’ while another says ‘pigeon’. Either way it looks great, especially with our 4-point lighting setup.
