22.01.2022 We are writing with the sad news that our little business is soon coming to an end. We are so grateful for whatever role you played in our success over the past 15 years, it really has been a dream to work together as best friends photographing so many wonderful people and events. We are so happy to have been a part of your lives for so long. Our beloved studio has been sold and we will be moving out in about 2 weeks. Amber has another job in a new field and Diane will be w...orking from home as a photographer while she ponders her plans for the future. We are both a little heartbroken but we take so much joy in our achievements since 2005 and our love for each other remains as strong as ever. If you need something from us then now is the time to ask for it! We will be finishing up some little jobs in the next few months but after that we will not be able to provide images from DeRay & Simcoe shoots. We will not be archiving film negatives or digital images past the end of 2020. The best way to contact us is via email as our office phone will soon be unavailable. 21.01.2022 H E L L O F R I E N D S. . . Well its been a shitty few weeks for us and everyone involved in the Perth wedding industry. We have seen lots of lovely couples being forced to postpone their weddings that were coming up in the next few months and its broken our hearts. After 15 years in weddings and surviving the GFC we thought we had seen everything but man were we wrong! Our income has been cut to almost zero and its going to be a impossible to pay our business bills in ...the short term. We are investigating all of the government and bank help thats available and will hopefully get some respite soon. At least we are saving money by not ever leaving the house! Thankfully both of our husbands still have jobs which is a relief for sure. We have also both made the difficult decision to move our computers back to our own homes and work from there. We would have preferred to stay in our safe little office but now our kids are home from school it just wasnt practical. We are now combining schooling from home/child wrangling with our post production from our recent weddings. It has been challenging to say the least! The best way to contact us now is via email [email protected] and we will do our best to get back to you ASAP. Obviously meeting in person is out but we are still available in lots of other ways so please reach out if you need us or just want to chat. It will make a change from talking about YouTube videos all day (which may or may not kill you, check back with us in a few weeks). Our hearts are with all of our friends in the wedding industry, hopefully we can all weather this (massive) storm and be back better than ever soon. Sadly we have had almost zero income in the past month and the business bills just keep piling up. We sent out an email newsletter today with a special offer for past clients to help them access their high res files from our many shoots going back to 2008. 02.01.2022 Tomorrow is our last official wedding together as DeRay & Simcoe! How wonderful that we get to share it with Montana & Justin who had their original date cancelled due to Covid. We are super excited after a 5.5 month break from weddings! Diane has some weddings booked for herself in the next year so its not the total end of the story just yet... stay tuned for more updates about the future and some photos from these cuties
