04.01.2022 My turn today, Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel applied at 9am, and I shall remove at 5pm. After removal I shall apply the Mesoestetic hydra-vital face mask(packed with hydration and nourishment for my skin) and begin my new Mesoestetic skin care routine. All the products pictured are included in the cost of the Cosmelan Treatment, and need to be used over the next 6 months. ... I have had many questions over the last few days about the treatment. Many of you wanted to know if this Depigmentation treatment is for all skin types or tones. There are very few skin types that this treatment would not suit, but if you are not an existing client of mine, I recommend to come in for a skin consult prior treatment. Another concern was downtime... As all skins react differently, it is hard to say exactly how long your skin will be red/peel for. Most of my clients start to peel around day 3, and peeling subsides by day 6. Peeling can be quite mild to moderate. In a few weeks I shall post before and after pics. My main concerns promoting me to have the treatment are sun damage (I should have listened to my mum when she told me to wear sunscreen, instead I used baby oil when lazing around the pool ) AND hormonal pigmentation after years of being on the contraceptive pill and my pregnancies. I found myself wearing more makeup to hide the pigmentation, which as we get older ages us, and sits in my pores and fine lines (not a good look!) And to be truthful...I simply can’t have my clients skin looking better than mine . I have been throughly envious seeing their dewy, makeup free skins.
