25.01.2022 We may be headed for an overcast day tomorrow in Melbourne, but don’t be fooled - you can still end up with sun damage (or otherwise overindulge ). Enjoy the day off! TIP ONE Start the morning by applying a potent antioxidant to your skin. ... Antioxidants provide you with an amazing defence system and help to control all the damage we do by being out in the environment and/or eating and drinking things we probably shouldn’t. TIP TWO Sun protection (this is the easiest and also most important tip) Apply a minimum 30+ broad-spectrum sunscreen every day as part of your normal skincare regime to protect and prolong your skin’s health. Don’t forget to reapply! TIP THREE Boost your antioxidant levels throughout the day BY addING some blueberries to your champagne - they are low in sugar and have one of the highest antioxidant content of any fruit. However, if you’re a beer drinker, add blueberries at your own peril. Better yet - keep hydrated throughout the day by either abstaining from alcohol or alternating your drinks with a classic H2O.

15.01.2022 Skin peels are probably not what you think they are! Firstly, they are not the same as the peel-off face masks which have become popular in recent years. not to mention, light skin peels are much more beneficial. Secondly, while you MAY experience some skin peeling in the days following your treatment (depending on the peel strength and concentration), mild redness, tightness and/or sensitivity is much more common.... 01.01.2022 Skin peels have technically been used for rejuvenation for thousands of years - The Ancient Egyptians used animal oils, salt, alabaster, and sour milk to aesthetically improve their skin. When sour milk was used, lactic acid, (an alpha-hydroxy acid or AHA) was the active agent. This particular acid is still used in skin peels to this day.
