16.01.2022 The magic of Teoxane Deep Lines. Lower face rejuvenation with 1ml of Teosyal Deep Lines and cannulas. Due to bone resorption after the age of 35 , lower face signs of volume depletion tend to become more obvious with time: jowls, marionette lines, DAO triangle loss of volume. Being one of the most mobile areas in the human body,remaining at all times dynamic, with respiration, expression, mastication etc, we usually volumise with fillers twice a year. Combination treatments with muscle relaxing injections in the DAO give more long lasting effects and diminish filler breakdown due to dynamic forces. :)

15.01.2022 One of the first areas in the face to show depletion as a sign of ageing is the tear trough . It is important to analyse the causes of this apparent deficit so that we make the correct decision re depth of filler placement. In the case of this patient, we opted for deep medial correction via cannulas sub orbicularis occuli area to restore the SOOF. Any direct injection into the tear trough esp via needle in this area is contraindicated not only due to safety reasons. (... embolisation directly and indirectly via direct anastomosis with the retinal artery vascular arches and facial vein/ artery respectively are to be avoided at any cost) Use of needle and superficial placement of filler are associated with significant edema and bruising which at times are long lasting (due to iatrogenic lymphatic stasis and muscle necrosis) and undesirable by patients with busy lifestyle. Another seminal point is , empirically, we have established that underfilling of this area results in a more natural look, less prone to fluid fluctuations in the long - term:) See more
