Did you know that the dual flush toilet is a great Australian plumbing invention, created to reduce water use in drought affected South Australia in 1980? An older single flush toilet uses around 13 litres of water. Now the dual flush toilet can use as little as 4.5 litres of water on full flush and 3 litres on half! Plumbing improves the world.
