22.01.2022 Had the great privilege of interviewing Cathy Freeman yesterday and she had a few pearls of wisdom that she shared with the students at my school. 'Surround yourself with people you love and trust' 'hold on to your dreams' . Her biggest regret in athletics was not giving the 800m's a go! What an amazing woman.

21.01.2022 With the current closure of the cross country track at Stromlo Forest Park training has been cancelled tomorrow and our Tuesday session has moved to Cooleman Ridge in Chapman at 4:45pm. Great to see many of the group getting out the door today for their runs. See you Tuesday.

15.01.2022 31 members of our group raced at the ACT Cross Country Champs yesterday with 19 athletes placing in the top 3 for their events! Well done everyone and thank you to all the officials that made this event possible.
15.01.2022 Well the weekend of racing is over. Here are some of our results: Catriona 3:01 for 30k trail race at Stromlo, Leanne 9:20 for 3k in Sydney, at the ACT meet this morning over 1500m at the AIS Duncan 3:52, Max 4:01, Alex 4:06, Hamish 4:17, and Margaux 4:56. Zoe who has just finished Year 12 exams runs a swift 61.4 for 400m! Well done everyone!
14.01.2022 Well done to our group today with Daniel running 12.31 for 100m, Lucy winning the women's 400m in 59.7, and Isaac running a new pb in the rain with 4:26 for 1500m. Looking forward to seeing what our athletes accomplish in the 2020/21 Athletics season.
13.01.2022 NSW 3k Champs tomorrow night! Leanne racing at 9:15pm. The Sunday morning 1500m is looking to be a class field with Duncan, Max, Alex, and Hamish lining up to race in what looks to be good conditions.

12.01.2022 Windy afternoon at the ACT Athletics meet. With 12 of our group racing over 800m's with 9 athletes running pb's. Max 1:52.67 and Lucy 2:13.39 win male and female races. Riley 1:53.10 Duncan 1:53.6 Hamish 2:02 Alex 2:03 Oliver 2:10, Wil 2:18 Matthew 2:21 Amelia 2:23, Ella 2:27 Melissa 2:31. Well done everyone!

10.01.2022 Good results from today's 2k and 5k at Lake Burley Griffin. Unofficially Duncan 15:50 Flynn 15:59 (last year he ran 17:41 just in front of me!) Alex 16:46 and not sure of Capella's result but she was first female. Good luck to Ella and Amelia who race NSW short course XC tomorrow in Wollongong.

07.01.2022 Congrats to Margaux and Brayden in their first ACT Road Cycling Championships over 54k and 72k. Margaux places 4th with Brayden winning the bronze.
