21.01.2022 The manuscript for the book has now been assessed by two Manuscript Assessors and subsequent editing is now in progress. Next step is the "punctuation edit" then pitches to Publishers - hopefully not too long and we'll have a published book. The MS assessors are very excited about the story

14.01.2022 This site describes World War 1 history from Egypt, across the Suez Canal, through the Sinai desert, into the plains and hills of Palestine, beyond the gates of Damascus to Aleppo. The British led Egyptian Expeditionary Force that included the Australian Imperial Force and the Mounted Rifle Brigade of New Zealand advanced over 600 miles in two and a half years to defeat the combined forces of the Ottoman Empire (Turkey) and its German and Austrian allies.
