13.01.2022 Thanks again to all those who participated in our recent NT Women In Music group consultations or who have yarned with us since and completed our survey. The overwhelming messages so far are that our industry in the NT has a way to go to reach gender equity and that these discussions are timely and welcomed. It is also clear that women's music programs and initiatives are stretched far too thin and are often run by passionate and skilled individuals volunteering their time ...and expertise to keep things running. Constructive input from men is also not only welcomed but crucial in creating change which stands to benefit ALL across our diverse music scenes. There is still time to contribute to this consultation. You can fill out a survey here https://bit.ly/3kiPHoa. You can also contact Liz Archer at MusicNT by emailing [email protected] if you have input or any questions about our next steps in developing an NT Women in Music Strategy.
