19.01.2022 Hi folks, I don't normally share too much of my personal life here. It's all business... well all business and dogs and horses and arty stuff and spotty things... hmmmmmm maybe it's not strictly business but life's too short not to have some fun right? I just wanted to reach out and say thanks to all of you amazing people I call clients (many of you who have become dear friends) for your patience and support recently. For those who don't follow me personally my hubby has been... in hospital with pneumonia and along with that daunting experience we've had some tricky little challenges to negotiate lately. We tend to be in good health normally and we were pretty clueless about the gravity of the situation until it got very nasty - suffice to say we have a new level of gratitude for our health system, ambos, doctors, nurses, hospital staff, etc. Everything is fine and hubby is on the mend but I'm quite aware I haven't been as attentive and proactive in business as I normally would be. Whether you've noticed or not, I'm really appreciative of your patience, understanding and support and looking forward to things getting back to that 'new normal' everyone keeps talking about. 12.01.2022 Im very grateful that its business as usual here at Design Spot and isolation is not unusual for me. I often have weeks without any personal contact with clients. Much of my communication is via messages, email or phone so it can be a bit lonely at times but I find I work very efficiently this way. For those whose business model has changed dramatically due to the virus I imagine this must be causing extremely tough times for you.
