23.01.2022 Makiko Yoshida Yoshida was born on January 23, 1980. Now lives in Kanagawa Prefecture. She spent her childhood in Nature of Hokkaido. Yoshida graduated from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music the Department of Design in 2003. Her special ability is memorizing peoples face.But, she cant memorize their names! 18.01.2022 Adrian Olabuenaga was born in 1955 in Buenos Aires Argentina but grew up and was educated in Los Angeles, California. Olabuenaga has an architectural background, but works across functional art and design. In 1985, he founded ACME Studios with his wife Lesley Bailey, and since they have collaborated with many of the worlds best designers to produce their range of writing tools and accessories. Olabuenaga also currently designs for Ritzenhoff, Boeing, Disney, Mercedes Benz, Warner Bros. and many others. view the car on [designbank]

10.01.2022 Jakob Wagner trained as an engineer, before studying industrial design at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and Art Centre, Switzerland. He has gone on to become one of Scandinavias foremost designers, working for Iittala, Georg Jensen, Magis and more prestigious international companies. Wagner is inspired by contrast - using the tension between contrasts (masculine/feminine, organic/geometric etc) to create unique and inspiring designs. His customised car for the [designbank] project has extended the traditional design with a jigsaw insert.

The brand draws inspiration from Karlssons home Sweden - the colours of the seasons, the textures of the landscape, and of course the simplicity and clean lines that have defined Swedish design for decades. These elements are brought together to create an inspiring collection of office accessories, sold throughout their boutique chain of stores. Kristina has been bringing beautiful organisation to Australia for more than 10 years.

07.01.2022 Masaru Suzuki is a Japanese based textile designer. He studied at the Textile Design Department at Tama Art University, and then began working for Hiroshi Awatsuji Design Studio. In 1995 he became a freelance textile designer, working for Marimekko and then later establishing Ottaipnu - a Japanese fabric company that works with vivid hand-printed designs and unique applications of traditional dobby weaving. 07.01.2022 I remember getting my first 3D printer about 12 years ago and was always obsessed with this notion of creating objects that are robotically produced yet could be one-off. The beauty is that we can create something that is impossible to produce with a hand tool. Non-serialized production will give us the opportunity to created unique, personalized objects that are far more complex than existing production technologies and personalized. The automobile industry should e doing this! The opportunity is to develop new forms that can only really be done with polymers and the wonder of 3D Printing. 03.01.2022 The stunning speed=racer from Black and Blum. about dan black + martin blum Dan Black: ... From a manufacturing background, Dan grew up discussing products and design with his family from an early age. His passion and skill for design was recognised in a first class honours degree from the respected Design for Industry course at the University of Northumbria (Newcastle). Dan gained further professional foresight working at IDEO (London). Frog Design (California) and under Julian Brown at Studio Brown (Bath). Dan completed successful group projects with his friend Martin Blum whilst studying in Newcastle, sparking the idea for the creative partnership that is now black + blum. Martin Blum: Martin was born and raised in Switzerland. An early apprenticeship as a commercial clerk with a product design company provided his first insight on the development and distribution of products. He then gained an industrial design degree from the highly respected course at the University of Northumbria (Newcastle). Martins cultural and design reference is a juxtaposition of his Swiss youth and enduring love affair for all things British. Martins work has been acknowledged by internationally recognised design awards.

01.01.2022 Since 2001, Greg Natale Design has been pioneering the integration of design and decoration; focusing on residential, retail and commercial design. With a bold signature style, Greg Natale Design is instantly recognized alongside Australias top designers.
