16.01.2022 One in four working Australians have become the New Vulnerable this means having hours of work or pay cut, being made redundant, stood down temporarily or having business slow or even stop due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Household Relief provides loans without interest for rent and bills in collaboration with Good Shepherd and the Australian Government. Design Democracy created a campaign that places this important message of financial relief for household expenses front an...d centre. In this time of rapid social change our campaign works to target those most adversely impacted, particularly lower income groups where 57 per cent have suffered negative changes to their employment due to the pandemic. Our creative approach needed to be easily understood by culturally and linguistically diverse communities, acknowledging that many people may not have previously experienced financial vulnerability and are not accustomed to accessing financial assistance. The creative tone is friendly and direct, purposefully driving financial relief to the newly vulnerable within our communities. #creativecampaign #householdrelief #designdemocracy #covid19campaign #designforimpact

14.01.2022 We worked with ArchiTeam on the branding and collateral for their 2019 Awards. The visual identity explores the idea of materiality in architecture, using patterns to represent the use of materials or substances within the medium of building. The abstracted shapes and patterns have been constructed into three dimensional letterforms to build the word AWARDS. These forms have then been reconfigured and applied throughout all branded materials. ArchiTeam Cooperative is a member...ship association for Australian architects working in small, medium and emerging practices. #branding #identity #colour #inspiration #graphicdesign #architecture #architect #archidesign #design #spaces

13.01.2022 The Finders Keepers is Australia's largest curated marketplace of makers, designers and entrepreneurs. We are excited to have been given the opportunity to design seasonal artwork for application across print, media, digital and advertising campaigns. Our campaign artwork was created to celebrate the Australian host cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Deconstructed local architectural forms have been combined with distinctive colour palettes to develop a unique brand id...entity for the three events. With all events postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic our campaign identity has grown into a call to arms for the creative community. The iconic abstracted forms have been reconfigured to engage in supporting and nurturing creativity, community and connection during these times of global change and uncertainty. #creativecampaign #thefinderskeepers #designdemocracy #strongertogether #covid19campaign #designforimpact
