24.01.2022 Feeling very lucky to be sharing a page in Aurora Magazine magazine with incredibly talented local artist, Maxine Holman. If you haven't already seen her work, it's stunning! Watercolours that are so lifelike and with such amazing attention to detail. Her exhibition is on at the Museum of the Great Southern in the Co-op building between 10 and 4 until the 11th of October. I understand that - in true Maxine style! - all her originals have sold, but I'm sure she'll have some prints, calendars, cards and bookmarks available! Maxine can be contacted on 0417918201

07.01.2022 FAVOURITES + MEMORIES So I got home the night of our anniversary to find these waiting on the kitchen table! Ian snuck home with them during the day Dutch irises have been my favourite for years. I longed to have them for my bridal bouquet, but it was too difficult to have flowers out of season back then. The smokebush is reminiscent of the bush block Ian's parents had in Gin Gin when we first started going out, so I think he chose the perfect bunch! What are your favourite flowers?
