Gyprock (our brand) is manufactured from gypsum which is a soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate, common...ly found in the earths crust. It is extracted and processed with paper and a small amount of additives to make what we know as plasterboard products. Gypsum is a naturally occurring, non-toxic sedimentary rock which you can always reuse Gypsum because the chemical composition of the raw material in the products remains unchanged.
