09.01.2022 Hi all, due to Covid 19 there have been some changes to J Block access for semester 2 2020. You now need to book a work space online before entry, if requiring a work space outside of the booked classes. Available space times listed below Weeks 2-4 Monday to Friday 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm Weeks 5-13 Tuesday 1pm-5pm and Friday 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm... Please wash hands or use hand sanitiser on entry. In Reference to Laser cutting and 3d printing , we are offering an online printing service for semester 2 due to Covid 19 Files to be submitted through QUT Heat CIF-TS Design Fabrication Studio. 08.01.2022 We are here and ready to help you with your assessment model making! This semester we have a new system called HEAT. On HEAT you can upload your Laser Cutting, 3D Printing, Vinyl Printing files, submit it to us we will complete your job. Once we have notified you that your job is complete you will be able to pick it up from the GP J Block Workshop- look for the signage to find the contactless pick up point. Book in to use the main assembly room on Tuesday afternoon and all day Friday on webcheckout https://webcheckout.ci.qut.edu.au/patron Or upload 3D printing and laser cutting files to the link below and we will run your job and let you know when you can pick it up, contact free from outside the main door of the workshop.
