23.01.2022 KItchen Design | A recent photo shoot of a gorgeous home renovation project in Halls Head Mandurah this home is completely unrecognizable from the before images and the client is in love with the outcome. As an Interior Designer meeting the brief is paramount and this brief was to create a beautiful coastal retreat with a Bryon Bay vibe to be the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life.

18.01.2022 This stylish and timeless Seascapes home on the Mandurah coast was completed in 2008 and designed by Banham Architects with strong mid century influences. DLS was commissioned as the Interior Designers to work with the clients during the design and construction phases to ensure all elements transitioned seamlessly from the interior to the exterior. This included all interior detailed joinery, fixtures and the selections of interior and exterior colour palettes and finishes.... This inspiring capture with the Indian Ocean horizon in the background included our still pond a subtle cohesive entry statement, a balance of sharp lines with a sense of calm stillness, the very essence of this home. 17.01.2022 This earthen coastal palette is evolving for a gorgeous seaside home design in Mandurah. Large format tiles will coexist with stunning stone surfaces and playful mosaics while intermixed with practical surfaces where required. The result will be a balanced interior that provides the perfect backdrop to highlight beautiful furnishings and art.

The awe inspiring palette of materials is evident in the project and a standout in the cohesion of the exterior elements and interior architecture. Perfectly complimented with the styling of @annapearlflanders thankyou for this inspirational design @thecolourroyale and capturing the essence @dionrobeson an extremely well deserved entrant!!

11.01.2022 Gorgeous corner of the Innerspacewa showroom for the Mark Tuckey launch highlighting this iconic Melbourne furniture designers pieces! One of my lovely clients has the stunning tripod table and it sits perfectly in their coastal home also loving this art piece from a local West Australian artist Anita Phillips how lovely is the colour tones and cloud formation. Thankyou @innerspacewa and @alanawilllisstyle for being a perfect host!!

My iPad is so critical to my day running efficiently as a designer from client presentations, on-site plan reviews, sourcing products and is an essential team player in my paperless office quest! So I couldn't resist the new iPad Pro 12.9in I hesitated with the larger size but is perfect and I am seriously impressed. So looking forward to client consultations with this stylish piece of equipment.

In Australia 47% of the workforce is driven by chick power and this takes many forms, including working from a home office space to accommodate work commitments with contemporary employers or those that have taken the plunge as business owners. This flexibility is often possible and a lifestyle game changer for many of us. Todays blog centre's around 'Influencing your Productivity' and on International Womans Day I devote this piece to all of us woman managing home and work in all its diversities. 07.01.2022 Arne Jacobsen personal favourite the Drop chair designed in 1958 is currently enjoying its 60th Anniversary along with the Swan and Egg all three beautiful curvy pieces are loved the world over and firmly established in design history. In the words of the Republic of Fritz Hansen Timeless Yet Relevant In Time. To celebrate these true classics @fritzhansen are releasing a stunning limited edition anniversary collection. All the orginal pieces were created for the SAS Royal Hotel Copenhagen if you are not familiar with the history of these iconic pieces it is a project very worthy of a read. 05.01.2022 Returning recently to work with the clever and beautiful Hannah of Eco spa Mandurah on the next stage of her interior design vision, a simply gorgeous pedicure space and reflecting on this 2018 capture of of the signage designed within the first stage of the refurbishment. The selection of natural organic but luxury finishes is aligned perfectly with Hannah's ethos. Looking forward to capturing this space.
