15.01.2022 I've been experiencing a mental/creative block the past week. Particularly in the social media department I've been putting time into home life, the back end of my business and am starting to make more of an effort exercising (and let me tell you, I'm so proud after every workout ) Today I organised my sample library after recieving some new fabric samples earlier this week. ... Doing this actually gave me an idea on my next post (Mental block gone!) Next I'll show you some of my samples and how I work them into my consultations with clients who are renovating or building. Stay tuned and happy Friday! x Pinterest #interiordesignmelbourne #interiordesigngeelong #interiordesignballarat #bathroominspo #bathroomrenovation #homeconstruction

09.01.2022 Reposting this gorgeous kitchen from fellow interior designer and my mentor, @melissa_lunardon I'm keen to get my hands on a kitchen project. When we moved into our new home last year, our kitchen had already been renovated, so no work needed there. We did just upgrade our microwave and kettle though so that's cool ... Happy Friday and enjoy the weekend ahead! @katehansenphotography #interiordesignmelbourne #happyfriday #interiordesignmentor #smallbusinessaustralia

What are you up to? Let me know in the comments x... @frenchyfancy #mumlife #workingmum #smallbusinessvictoria #overlockdown #melbourneinteriordesigner #interiordesignballarat

01.01.2022 Furniture selections I thought I'd share a couple of tips when it comes to buying furniture for your home. Measure your space- ... Knowing your measurements means you can maximise the space. Is there room for a side table? Will everyone on the sofa be able to comfortably see the tv? Or will they feel like they're in the next room and isolated from everyone? Don't buy the first thing you see- Sometimes I see things and think "omg that's so cute". Then I step back and ask myself if I really need it, or if there's room in the house for it? Take your time shopping and don't be afraid to invest a little more in a piece that you love and is a great quality product. I sold this gorgeous leather sofa recently and replaced it with a 3 seater chaise. Although I absolutely loved this lounge, having a small living area, we really needed to utilise the space better. I should have taken my own advice and thought about what we really needed but, you live and learn and now we can comfortably seat an extra person If you've read this far, thank you Is there anything in particular you struggle with when it comes to selecting items for your home?
