I know I’ve been kinda slow (lol, read; not here at all) on the socials of late, but as everyone is aware, we have entered stage 4 lockdowns in Melbourne as of this week. It’s a tough time for everyone. . . I had been tagged in a couple of the #challengeaccepted #womensupportingwomen posts. Now, firstly, I thought this was all cute and lovely with a nice black and white photo and all about the girls. It wasn’t until I did a bit of research that I saw ...it’s related to Turkey, and the women in Turkey being killed, just because they’re women. . . Cases in Turkey of domestic violence and femicide have been on the rise for years. . . This isn’t about women supporting women. This is about people supporting people. . . It’s a crazy time in the world right now, and we all need some support. Love those that are close to you, and talk to them about how they’re going. . . We are all experiencing heightened emotions, as well as a greatly increased feeling of uncertainty. Now is the time to breathe, and allow things to flow into place. Try not to force things, and allow yourself to nurture yourself. . . Stay strong everyone, and we will come out the other side of this. 16.01.2022 With everything that it going on at the moment, I am trying to do the best for everyone involved, whether its a winery tour, your wedding day, or anything in between. I have offered refunds or to rebook to all my clients, and will be there, rain hail or shine for your event. Things are very up in the air at the moment, and it can be difficult to answer some of your questions. I (and the rest of my small business friends) are doing the best that we can to ensure we all stay... safe, productive and healthy. Please. Please PLEASE think about re-booking, rather than cancelling. If your wedding is coming up, as most of the suppliers have said, look at postponing until a later date, and look at mid week, so you can get your fave suppliers on board. My thoughts are with you all, and I want to say that Im not going anywhere - DSL might diversify into some other options, but we will not be saying farewell.
