I also used black chia because I didn’t have white chia and guess what....? It’s still awesome ... Close enough is always good enough for me. 18.01.2022 CITRUS CURD with ITALIAN RICOTTA DONUTS I followed the #cookidoo recipe for these lovely #doughnuts, but used all spelt flour, raw sugar, and home-made ricotta. The recipe already calls for the home-made ricotta, and it was so easy! Giving me enough ricotta for both this and the ricotta and spinach ravioli that we also enjoyed. A very tasty way to finish an Italian meal, and a real treat in this house. I dustedthese with cinnamon and xylitol, instead of additional sugar.... Believe me, that citrus curd is more than sweet enough! 17.01.2022 Annoyed I didn’t get a photo of the finished lasagne but this was delicious! @thermomixaus paleo lasagne! It’s so good!!! I changed the sauce by cooking it a bit before pouring over, and I liked this better, but both ways are awesome! So.... the scissors are for size reference, there must be about 10 bunches worth of parsley here to use and give away the rain and sunshine are about to make the garden go crazy now, so I have picked a huge amount of rocket, lettuce, mizzuna, bok chiu and some spinach. I really wish I’d planted less rocket and more spinach.. This is over the last 5 years or so, from when I first joined as a consultant to earn my #TM5 when I upgraded from a #tm31. 06.01.2022 I MADE RAVIOLI Cookidoo: Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r85268 Well, I made ricotta cheese, I made spinach pasta, I made spinach and ricotta filling and then I made ravioli ... Delicious spinach pasta, which would be amazing on its own, filled with spinach and ricotta filling, so good!! I definitly got The ratio of pasta to filling wrong, my mistake, but..... now I have extra filling to make it again so a happy mistake. Served as part of an Italian banquet prepared for Sabbath evening, and it didn’t not disappoint. Have you tried making pasta in your thermomix? 04.01.2022 While #ivf is kicking my butt, I have called in all the help I can get.... or at least had this boy roll out some dough to make pizza scrolls for school lunches. That’s basically all I’ve done today, made them, and honestly that’s enough...! And I had a nap....! There isn’t much going on in this kitchen at all right now, but we are maximising porridge in the Thermomix for breakfasts, and easy lunches and dinners :) Oh and this new rolling pin is a big upgrade from the one ...I had, which.... I’ll admit to using as a hammer on more than one occasion so it’s my own fault. 03.01.2022 I had a go at making a homemade version of Australia favourite baked not fried biscuits!! So the only shapes I made were square, rectangle and odd but... . Made based on @changing_habits pizza dough, using tapioca and coconut flour and olive oil as the base of the dough, so GF, and DF!! I then made a topping with fresh garlic, herbs and spices, tomato powder, onion powder etc. I have already worked out wheee they need improvement, but the HUGE glass container I had of them is already empty, so they were still a success!!
