Tysm again for everything and we hope to see you again soon #Repost @laurahwclx Summer is here and you can’t go wrong with indulging in some icy Taiwanese desserts I’m back with another review of my favourite dessert place, thanks to @dessertgardenau for the warm invite to try out their newly launched desserts and fruit tea series in store! ... *HOLIDAY LIMITED EDITION* The highlight of this dessert is their freshly handcrafted cream cheese and taro balls. Their cream cheese is light, tangy and well-balanced in flavour, while taro balls are of a perfectly firm and chewy texture. This dessert is served alongside several other ingredients including crystal jelly, pearls, red beans and topped with brown sugar boba syrup. Overall, the combination of ingredients are unique and well-complemented, I would definitely recommend trying this especially to cream cheese lovers! Perfect refreshing drink for the summer that comes in three different flavours: Their tea base is prepared using a chinese traditional brewing method with real added jasmine flowers for enhanced tea flavours. Ice and Sugar levels are adjustable, with each fruit tea drink topped with their handcrafted crystal jelly - the perfect guilt-free topping that is lower in calories! Other top picks of all time (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED): Aside from the great desserts, customer service is always excellent! The lovely co-owner Yvonne is very friendly and is always attentive to all of her customers! No warm weather days are complete without refreshing icy treats, and for me, @dessertgardenau is one of my first go-to for such desserts. : Strawberry & Mango Duo Condensed Milk Crushed Ice($18.80) Mango Snowflake Ice($15.80) This Strawberry & Mango Duo Condensed Milk Crushed Ice truly is a majestic fruit Mt. Fuji. Their finely crushed ice mountain is adorned with fresh Strawberries, fresh Mangoes, Strawberry Syrup, Mango Syrup, Condensed Milk and Vanilla Ice Cream. I was holding my breath as I watched the behind-the-scenes of the lovely staff creating this masterpiece. As if sculpting the ice tower wasn't a tough job, she carefully adorns it with generous drizzling of fruit syrup, fresh fruit and topped off with a ball of Vanilla Ice Cream. ( to watch video) This is one dessert worth braving the upcoming summer heat for. Next, the Mango Snowflake Ice was another refreshing treat. I can never stop complimenting DG about how they keep to the name of "Snowflake Ice" and truly make the Milk Snowflake Ice fluffy and fine like real snow. With glorious servings of fresh Mango, Mango Syrup and Egg Pudding, finished off with a pouring of Condensed Milk, it tasted like an XL Mango Smoothie. Man, this was a sure-go for me, even though I'm not that big a fan of Mango. ( if you caught it) We've definitely demolished way more desserts than humanly possible on that one afternoon. Just look at one of the two spoon trays we used up! Thank you to Yvonne, Felix and the lovely DG team for always making me feel right at home.
